Hello everyone! I have been fiddling with minecraft texture packs lately. I have found all sorts of fun, different and even nostalgia inducing textures. I felt that there weren't enough poorly thought out packs, sneaking up beside ones with dignity and pride!
So i bring you a new texture pack at the beginning of it's journey through life! What can you expect? Well how about...
A pig... thing!
A floating sheep thing!
And some tree things!
These are all little ideas and animals I have thought up before and have drawn before, either on paper or magic computer square. Since I have no idea where to even begin with a Three dimensional object, I figured I could at least skin minecraft and see all the clashing colors I have always imagined come to life and make my eyes bleed in reality!
Anyways, what I have done is scattered and what I work on next is what I decide to do after what it was I was doing is done. Some thing are just tests of altering hues to get a feel of what eye bleeding colors I like, and what colors clash with my pigs. So be prepared to not know what is going on in an even more funtastical way soon enough!
However I do need a slab of help. A rather juicy slab for me really. Specifically the slab revolves around altering certain textures that are in game. I will be the first to admit, I don't know entirely what I am doing. I can open PNG files and paint.net. When that isn't enough I quickly become confused. And more precisely just have no idea what to do next.
If you could point me to how to apply changes to Lava, Water, Moon, Sun, Birch tree leaves, Pine tree leaves, the little compassy inside nobber, and anything else I forgot to mention.
I don't really want to post a download outside of a bunch of mob reskins and the Birch tree and pine tree reskins most, if not all. other alterations is just me fiddling with the hue of a texture. So if you could help me I could probably push it along faster and release a something kinda deal...
Oh do leave comments! Any little thing helps as long as you do try to be helpful, usually. If you could think of anything that would make sense in this sort of not sense make way it is headed do tell, I would love for it and I would appreciate it. So that could make you feel happy and stuff.
Oh if I don't respond to this for a bit I am probably working on this, I am quite honestly having a blast with it. Which is a lie, the first part not the second bit, because I will be busy for the next few days. But if you pretend (like I am) and don't remind yourself of this last paragraph maybe you can imagine I am working on it! Or imageine like, money or chocolate, those you can imagine even if you do remeber this paragraph. You know whatever you want really.

Ooo! How exciting. I was not expecting this much popularity! An entire person I am flabbergasted! In case you thought I was being sarcastic let allow you to put those beliefs to rest, I am quite serious! Yay! Anywho this is mostly to let anyone who cared that I was still working on this, though work will be interrupted by steam sale season... Anywho I haven't changed too much and am fixing a few things. I know for a fact Bamboo, fish, stone and cobblestone need some serious work. Plenty of things need fixes to better them in fitting in with the world without clashing more then they already do. but I am going to shoot myself in the foot and changificate everything to better match the world to help me find where the world will lead and match the world after all is complete (and inevitably miss things).
So to show that I still refuse to make any sense a couple of pictures, the item bar has a few of the changed things in it on... um one of the pictures probably.
Nice little shot of a puppy bug, note the large posterior mouth, used most commonly to excrete poison which of course it won't and will still bark at you like a dog.
Look at that face. Couldn't you just hug him? Or scream bloody murder? One of the two. Any other ideas are open to you that you can think of! A world of endless possibilities await you!
P.S. Need help changing Water Lava Leaves on both Pines and Birches *Probably something else-> Ah yes I doubt this will be easy but the sun has unique propeties, that I am unsure if it is possible to change to suit my needs without modding of some sort. And fiddly with the twiddly knobs in a compass and a watch, not the outer cruchy part but the inner spinny bits.
Edit: my incorrect spellings and poor grammar are a thing to behold
try editing the watercolor.png then the water.png in misc folder if minecraft.jar or the .zip for your pack trust me its a ***** to do :/

Welp for the time being i'll be changing a few things mostly in the item screen. True my next goal is to adjust all the weapons and tools. I also need to find an appropriate color for diamonds, seeing as how the stone is now a greenish color the diamonds need to be something else to really pop out. Also need to change Lava, not sure to what quite honestly, it was gonna be Green jadeish color, but now that rocks are greenish I need it to pop out too, Although I still haven't been able to change it's color so... that.
But whoo item stuffs! No picture too lazy, and I have an oddly tight schedule starting in 5 minutes ago.
try editing the watercolor.png then the water.png in misc folder if minecraft.jar or the .zip for your pack trust me its a ***** to do :/
As an interesting sidenote I now realize that changing all the water.png thingies have changed the color of the water from the inside. It is in fact the right color. In so far as the outside, it still remains blue.

These fine troglobites come out at night to gather any food they can. You look pretty tasty... Should they linger too long, which is a frequent, they tend to have a reaction to the light.
Need to fix his mouf but in a nutshell a skeleton! He is red like much else. I actually did change him up a bit! Although to be fair the only noticeable part on a skeleton is his face and I seem to have mucked it up... Oh well I'll fix that later.
A snazzy spider fellow! Territorial and afraid of the dark they can get fairly hostile. Meet them out in the open and don't harm them and they aren't so bad. Anywho the orange lights up at night and upon further inspection is funkified,and his mouthy pincer thingies are too hard to see, need to fix those too.
We ain't rich enough fer one-uh-dem fancy moon thingies. So we up'n used an ole' spacestation instead. Whee! An lastly,
Just a spot of Items, If you really wanted to you could just copy these put them in the right spot and use them. Also for those people out there who are normal I will help explain, You see all the weapons and tools at the top. Underneath you have feathers (scales!), Wheaties, bamboo (This will change I need to get the regular bamboo to work with me first), and bones (I decided not to muddle with the dyes too much so I needed a reason to keep bonemeal white while still keeping the bones red to fit the skeleton, which is why white marrow is spilling out of the bone). The you have an egg, yum! Then Meat and cooked meat, fish and cooked fish (Don't ask how that makes sense I was tired and still haven't figured out what to do with it). And on the bottom leather and a saddle. And no I haven't made used saddles actually the right color... verbal frown.
So anyway that is all, and help in making the outside of water and lava a different color would help (I would also love you)! With that I am off!
I don't like to lie so I won't. I have no idea what that is or how to use it. To imply that I am mostly clueless would be a violent understatement. Not to mention I was hoping for the most simple and easy to do fashion but if that is the only way, that is the only way I suppose.
Ha ha! I'm still working on this, just incredibly slowly! I think almost everything is falling together, I changed the red dirt to a brighter purply after much fumbling, and the bright green stone is now a dark cyan (which looks much better). So whee! Anyway I don't have much to say or show but I got a little bit.
