Hello,
I recently have been working on a texture pack, it was going very well. Once I zipped up the folder and put it in the Texture Packs folder of the .minecraft file. I then launched minecraft and chose my texture pack, nothing changed, nothing at all. Other texture packs that I download off of the Texture Pack section of the forum work fine, the painterly pack also works fine. But texture packs I create and zip up just don't seem to work. Please help me.
For mods: If this is the wrong section, please move my thread to the correct section.
It would be easier if you either gave us a screenshot of what you got in the zip or gave us the zip itself :smile.gif:
A few things you might want to check though:
- Is it a really a .zip file? (.rar, .7z etc. maybe?) It must be a .zip
- Texture files such as terrain.png must have the correct name
- If the textures are in a folder like "texpack.zip\mytexpack\terrain.png" it wont work! terrain.png and a few other textures must be in the zip itself and not in a folder
