I'm not dead yet. Just getting married this week(Thursday ) so all my time is being taken up with that.
I'll return to a more active state in a week or two.

Not sure exactly when I'll get back to doing more active development on this but I will at least do some right after 1.8 just to bring the model file up to date with whatever gets added.

I would really appreciate some Mac support! Thank you so much, in advance
Linux / Mac versions are pending my deciding how I want to handle them. I can confirm that it WILL compile on those systems but to be honest I don't want to bothered with maintaining multiple builds. My current plan is to get through the last few features on my Alpha list, do some code cleanup, and then look into finding some folks willing to maintain builds on other platforms.
Darn, I was getting all excited reading the description of this program, but I'm on a Mac. Would I be correct in assuming the time frame for getting the Mac & Linux versions out is "not soon"?
Love the program, very handy for moving over the modified textures from one old pack to a new one. Though I'm running into a problem of not being able to save the files in the file edit screen. It keeps going back to the default files, despite saving the texture pack.
The textures all save just fine, but the files are being a pain. Id venture a guess 1.8 did something here, or perhaps just my inability to use the program correctly. Thought you should hear about this from me, I like my glimmar splash screens and fancy gui hehe.

I'll put that on my list of stuff to look into when I get back to working on this. In the meantime I suppose you could just use something like 7-zip to copy the files you want into the pack.

Thank you for the timely reply hehe, I had anticipated a couple days or so. I'll be sure to give that a try.

Awesomest editing tool yet. Hope folk quickly realize how important this will become in our arsenal of essential editing tools. As soon as I can, I will package up my alternates so folk can better make their own personal compilations involving any of my textures (assuming anyone still likes anything I do! )
Give yourself more Credit Glim! I love your Steampunk! Just wish the 64x was finished =)) but its beautiful!
Sorry guys, I've not had the time to work on this. >_<
I'm debating open-sourcing this on Github so someone else could pick up the torch.
I seriously hope someone does. I still prefer this downloadable editor system to any other and if it could be extended to work with all the contents of an MC texture pack, it or something similar should seriously be incorporated into Minecraft's options menu. Thanks for all your work on it.

Curse PremiumDo the stdout.txt and stderr.txt files have any useful info in them?

Curse PremiumHere is the link for the thread on the latest version: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1548411-texture-mix-machine-v-alpha-01-release/
I'm fairly sure this will be the last time I do a rewrite as I think my wife would murder me in my sleep if I tried to go to a version six.
