Absolutely beautiful texture pack my friend. I like that it's got a semirealistic look, but the colors are still vibrant enough to fit in the abstract world of minecraft. Also I really liked the HUD changes, and the fact that the wheat's fully grown texture is *very* distinctive. Also, blue nether. You're a champion to mankind bro. That being said, my lava, water, fire, and portal textures don't seem to have changed properly. I'm thinking it's because they're animated, but is there something I have to do to make them change over? I used MCPatcher for the texture pack, if I need to do something else, I will, because those are some of my favorite parts. :smile.gif:

Very detailed mini-review there! I'm very pleased to see that my thread hasn't died in my absence. I thank you all for your support. As for the errors, I think you just need to apply the most recent ver. of the patch again, I'm able to run all of the textures just fine.
I was finally able to update the customizer. Finally.
So now, everything from the mediafire zip is available on the site for you to customize to your heart's content.
Enjoy mixing and matching.
P.S.
I might host a bit of a screenshot contest here, to completely thieve Steelfeather's idea...Just maybe.
I was so happy that they fixed the issue with the customizer. I have 40 alt textures right now and if I had to upload each tile separately...*shudder*
I have some alts from 1.8 dev that I decided not to use in main...I might just make them public domain...(or, alternatively, as incentive to enter the contest....hmm, I'll have to work out the rules).
Yes! Just added a direct link to the main page, now you don't even have to leave the forums to download the pack! Go see it on the front page! I'll still keep the mediafire link as a backup.
I still have plans to develop and contribute to this pack; however, I will be very busy with other things and will not be an active user again until late NOV at the earliest. When the full 1.9 beta comes out I will have a new update. Also, this TP is now free for all to use. So, til then. I'll check in infrequently.
great pack, i use it as much as i can. but theres one thing i would change, but it might just be me. as good as your new paintings are, i liked some of the old ones lots more. like the giant one with the girl on it. if you could somehow incorporate them together, that would be awesome ^^ thanks for great pack! keep it coming!
Anyways, thanks to anyone who is still paying attention to this pack after all this time away...
To address some questions: The opeth and DT references are there simply because I want them to be...I guess you can call it being a fanboy, or just a fan tribute to those bands.
Also...I'm not updating for any of the 1.9 pre-releases. I'll have an update for around Nov. 11th (which is the date for the full MC release).
Between now and Dec. my posts will become more frequent, and I'll probably be posting regularly again around the first wk. of Dec.
So until then, I treat you to this...(Taken at Dream Theater concert with a friend of mine)
Dream Theater sun and Opeth moon!?! Those are two of my favorite bands! I actually saw DT in concert recently. Anyhow, definitely downloading this pack.

Iffy? Well, Glad you like most everything else. Thanks.
This is one of my favorite bands.
I'll look into it; Thanks a lot!

If my Post is good please click the GREEN BUTTON THANK YOU.
There's already an alternate in the zip file, if the symbol bothers you. I'll include more alternates in the next update.
Also, you shouldn't expect any more updates until the full 1.9 comes out (pre doesn't count)...
But, thanks very much for the approval :smile.gif:
I was wondering whats the deal with the Opeth logo imposed over the moon though?
if my computer didn't suck so hard i would totally use this pack
Anyways, thanks to anyone who is still paying attention to this pack after all this time away...
