I've really been quite preoccupied with some other things, both minecraft related and not, but I am still very much working on this pack and you should expect some huge updates/changes for the 1.8 beta release.

not bad. however from looking at your screenshots i have noticed that your wood planks do not tile well at all, if you worked on that a bit (and all the tiling in general) this texture pack would be much better.

Hello all, just posted the latest 2.31 update as of this morning (Aug 2nd, 2011). Read the changelog at the front page for all the details. I will also upload this to MinecraftCustomizer.net very soon. This is just a bit of a peek at what's to come for the 1.8 beta (which should be Paragon 2.4X), I've been rather busy lately, and dabbling in modding (coming soon, perhaps?), so just released this early version to remind everyone that I'm still working on this.

I seriously need a new name for this pack, preferably something with the word 'paragon' somewhere in it, but I plan to change the current name soon due to finding another 'paragon pack' on the internet via google: The 'Other' Paragon

So if anyone wants to contribute a name, the door's wide open.

Ok, I'm having a difficult time coming up with a new title, of all things. I temporarily chose the name 'Resenär' (meaning 'traveller' in Swedish) as a working title after hearing the song 'Den Standiga Resan' (the perpetual journey) by Opeth. I guess it makes sense because you do end up traveling a lot in Minecraft, but it's not totally original and I still kinda want a new name...So come on, folks, I'm giving you the chance to name my texture pack, so once again I encourage you to post suggestions.

P.S. : I'm not Swedish and I don't know the language at all...I just listen to a lot of Opeth.

Ok, so ver 2.36 (working name 'Hjalte', or 'hero') is out at last, with some pretty signifigant changes, so please read the change log to see exactly what's new.

Also: If you download this, PLEASE COMMENT! Whether you like it or hate it, all commentary helps this pack to evolve! there is a deficiency in feedback from users....Please, don't hold back!

Well, yes, but remember that most color choices turn white after sunrise, which would be even worse....

Care to suggest a better color? Might even implement it.

Well it seems nobody has been really looking at this pack lately, despite all my efforts to promote it...
I wonder why? Nobody will even comment to say "It sucks horribly" or "take this trash off the forum"...
Are the textures really that bad? Or did everyone become paralytics and forget English?

So, nearly 4500 views and 600 downloads later, yet most of the comments have been from me? I really don't want to end up spamming my own thread....I wish someone, ANYONE, would just move their dainty little fingers and comment...Is that so much to ask?

I'm only going to bump one more time before the next update...So I have one request:

SO, here we have the only pack I've seen with a PURPLE GAMECUBE texture for something.. (Not sure what it is, my guess is the record player. :tongue.gif:) I like mainly the smooth, yet still hi-def texture you put in this pack... sleek and detailed. ^^ My only thing here is maybe add more of a "plank" look to the wood, so it doesn't look like burned grass.. I like it, don't get me wrong, but shading effects that seperated the planks would look great. :3
Also, the sun.. I like that too, but do you have the original sun image behind that logo? It'd look awesome without it. :3
