I made a texture pack a few months ago, but I never really finished it. So, I decided to go ahead and do that, but I have a problem. I'm not sure how to custom animate the water and lava. If anyone knows how and can actually give me an easy-to-understand tutorial on it, please tell me! All of the tutorials I've looked up haven't been easy to follow.
Also, on another note, if anyone can give me a bump-mapping tutorial so I can make my pack look better, that would also be appreciated. Again, I haven't found any of these tutorials very helpful, either.
Make files called custom_water_still.png and custom_water_flowing.png. Same thing for lava. Make the file 128x however long your animation is. Draw each frame of the animation and you're done.

My pack is 128x128, if that helps.
