I was tired of it, and I did need a break, but I'm working on it again. I might have an update within a couple weeks, maybe later, but it will def happen. It will be a big one too - including all of the work I did before I got tired(but never added in an update). Sorry for the gap in usability.
So glad your back working on it. I really miss this pack

I had to make an account and let you know that I'm so ecstatic to hear that production has begun anew. I've been using this pack forever, but with the recent updates to the servers I play on, it's fallen into disuse. It remains my favorite MC pack, hands down, though. You work magic, my friend, and I hope you stay Inspired. ^^
I really hope you will update this texture pack because it's my favorite. the skies are amazing especially when it's night. And the horizon clouds somewhat remind me of Dragon ball (idk why) and other blocks textures are also great.
Anyone heard from TobiwanK3nobi recently? I'm alil worried haven't heard from him in forever :(. I love his artwork and his texture/resource pack and would love to see it update like everyone else. But i really just want to know if he is OK right now :(.

Yeah I kinda just disappeared, didn't I?
I'm around. I just have a lot of things going on right now, so my texturepack has been moved to the back of the bus. I still have a lingering desire to finish it and make it a really great complete pack, but there's a LOT of work left to do and I have other things I need to focus on these days. I guess I should really fix the original post to say that.
If you were a watcher of my YouTube channel, I'm just not interested in that stuff right now.
You take as much time as you need, sir. Last thing we'd want is for you to get burnt out and scrap it entirely. I think I can speak for almost everyone here when I say that we'll wait as long as it takes.
I tried updating the texture pack to the resource pack using the mcpatcher thing so I could use it again :/ bad idea I'm not good at that kind of stuff and a lot of stuff broke on me wile trying to get it to work I guess ill stick to default textures for now cant find any other pack that I love as much as this one :/
Hey I just want to say that I've been a huge fan of your pack since like early beta MC when i saw your slaughter house video. Suffice to say it's been a few years of outstanding fun, and I miss that now that your busy. I'm not asking that you drop your entire life and do the texture pack, I understand you're preoccupied with more important things. All I ask is that you NEVER FORGET that there is a community of fans who love your texture pack because it makes Minecraft more than just a game, all the details and aspects of all the items, sky-boxes, blocks, and mobs make Minecraft a work of fine art. I think I speak for all your fans when I say that you are a true graphic artist and of all the texture packs I've seen NONE not a one is anywhere near the awesomeness and beauty of your pack (I'll illustrate below)

I'm not saying all these nice things just to be a "fan boy" or anything like that I really mean what I'm saying.
YOU HAVE VISION
The sky boxes were like nothing I've ever seen on a texture pack before because no one does anything but make an HD sun and moon. I really love that you went above and beyond to do custom clouds and beautiful night time auras ('Cause I play without clouds to reduce lag, and on most texture packs that just leaves me with a blank sky and the sun/moon. BORING!) Also the multi-layered moving particles in the redstone blocks PURE GENIUS! i've seen some inventive stuff for redstone, but that was just too freaking awesome to not be better than HD redstone crystal(s) inset into some sort wood/stone/iron block and all the other HD pure redstone blocks are just uber lame in comparison.
Seriously I hope that there will come a time when you have some free time and you remember those that love and support your texture pack, and you can finaly finish what I KNOW will be THE GREATEST MC TEXTURE PACK OF ALL TIME!!!
Hello! I have some great news for everyone! Since Tobi has been so busy and low on time (which we all understand and get) and I have really been missing my favorite resource pack and I have had some free time, I decided to give a helping hand to everyone by porting Inspiration 30v to Minecraft 1.7! I worked really hard and just got it done. I did have to remove a few things because they were broke and since Tobi hasn't given me an okay for editing his textures, I tried to stay away from messing with them. That being said, it's probably best to use other resource packs with it so you don't have parts untextured. Below I will post some pics and explain more.
Here you can see how epic it still looks!
Here is proof I am using 1.7.2. I have tested with most all the 1.7.x's so it shouldn't be a problem since the textures haven't changed. It also looks epic again.
4. Lithos - A very good texture pack based on Faithful that I think blends well with Inspiration and textures what Inspiration does not.
4. Faithful - Also good. Gets the rest of the game textured.
^^All that of course are just my suggestions of how to use the 1.7 Inspiration. You don't have to do it that way.^^
You will also of course need Optifine or MCPatcher.
When stacking packs, I recommend you leave connected textures off. By unchecking connected textures before installing MCPatcher or for Optifine go to Video Setting... then Quality... and make sure connected textures is switched to Off. The connected textures from the lower packs will override Inspiration's textures if you don't do that. I did move a few important textures to the cmt folder textures to help with this bug but this is a connected texture problem. Anther solution is to unzip the packs you are going to stack bellow Inspiration and navigate to assets/minecraft/mcpatcher/ and delete the folders named ctm and cit. With that one you can leave connected textures on.
If you want an even cooler Minecraft experience I recommend Aerial Heights. It's a small (but awesome) server full of friendly people and fun events. It's world is half PvP and half PvE with the McMMO plugin on it. All the people there are very mature and there's no nonsense that goes on. Even though it's small (about 10 or less at a time) there's always friendly people to talk to. And the people that do join tend to stay and be regulars. Making it perfect for making new friends. By the way, I am not staff or anything. I just simply love the server. As will you.
If you find and bugs/glitch/whatever with Inspiration 1.7 then feel free to let me know so I can look into them.
Thanks, Micah! Have a great day every one!
To TobiwanK3nobi- Hey Tobi I know your busy and all but when you get the change please reply to this. I love your pack and I would really like to give you a helping hand by updating some of the textures for you. Most all of them are really easy to add like all the stain glasses and clays I could update them for temp use so when you get time you can fix them they way you like them. I think that would really help with the pack's look and make many of your fans happy. I wouldn't care at all if you came back and deleted them all I would just be glade your back .
Thanks Micah
Also for what ever reason if you don't like that I updated to it to 1.7 I can (sadly) remove it. It is your pack after all..
I shall start this message off by saying that I, like the others that have posted since your announcement of needing personal time off, wish you all the best and hope that some time in the future, you will return. Myself, and my fiance are regular Minecraft players, and we fell in love with your texture pack after I shared with her your Let's Play videos you made with your brother. Every now and then, we still go back and watch them because you and your brother were such a perfect balance for each other for gaming. Your calm demeanor and soft tone countering his hyperactivity and pure chaos. My fiance and I are much the same way, with myself being the calm, structured builder, handling the construction and maintenance of our world in addition to handling the dangerous ventures such as the Nether, while she wanders off in search of new lands and adventure topside, with no direction whatsoever.
For some reason, and I honestly cannot explain why, I felt the need to share with you the ways in which you have influenced our lives. I found your Let's Play videos with Daniel over two years ago, shortly after you and he had posted them up on Youtube, as I was trying to learn more about this "Minecraft" game everyone was telling me about. Admittedly, I was one of the ignorant people who dismissed the game before even trying it or knowing much about it, responding with comments such as "I don't play an Atari, why would I want to play an essentially 3D 8-bit adventure game?" but after a few months, I finally came to enough of my senses to go out and learn a thing or two about the game. So, I did a few Youtube searches and couldn't settle on a video to watch until I saw your username pop out in the list - "Tobiwank3nobi" - your name made me laugh and smile for its geeky glory, and I simply had to watch your videos after that. Your Lets Play videos with Daniel gave me an appreciation for Minecraft and made me want to play, so after watching every video you two had, I quickly went out and downloaded the demo. After dying about a half dozen times in my pathetic attempt to find the perfect spot to build a nice house right after starting, I realized I'd have to be content with my little hobbit-hole (literally built into a hill, with round hallways, I am such a nerd) for the time being. I also realized that I had absolutely no idea how to build a nice house. I had seen you and Daniel working on a huge mansion in your videos but I still lacked the experience and any direction as for what mine should look like when I was done, so back to Youtube I went. Remembering your Lets Play videos, I visited your channel and had a look at your other videos (Minecraft Necromancy Part 2 - Zombie Apocalypse remains me and my fiance's favorite video thus far) and watched every single one of your Mega Builds. Practically following your mansion build precisely, I started building my own mansion on the edge of a cliff I found after a few weeks of playing. While my demo mansion never came to completion, it will remain in my memory, as will the reason I continue playing Minecraft to this day; seeing your mega builds, being so emotionally moved by how beautiful a pixelated world and your creations could be - I was truly Inspired. You, Tobi, are the reason I play minecraft. The videos I watched to learn about this game, were yours. The footsteps I followed to first find my way in this pixelated world, were yours, and the person who solely inspired me to build and make the best creations I could, was you. The enthusiasm I gained for Minecraft drew my fiance into playing the game with me to share an experience together, and after slowly creating our own little world, she too became hooked.
To me, your texture pack and its name has a much deeper meaning than I suspect it does to most others. Your texture pack is not the only Inspiration, you are as well. Ever since purchasing two copies of Minecraft for my fiance and I, we have used nothing but your texture pack. It is unfortunate that it has gone so long without an update, but I hope everyone understands that life always comes first. With the newest patch, 1.5.2 is no longer supported and in order for us to continue playing, we no longer have a choice to keep your texture pack and 1.5.2. For a while we have to move to other packs, or vanilla, to play but I look forward to seeing another update someday.
In conclusion, no matter where life takes you, I wish you all the best - you deserve nothing less. Whatever becomes of your Inspiration pack, it will remain in the memories of many for quite some time. No matter what, the greatest Inspiration here will always be you.
So thank you, Tobi, for being my inspiration, and forever defining a moment in my life despite having never met.
Tobi I may have just got here but its 1.7.9 now and Notch may be adding more blocks so get in gear and fix this thing,it's epic and I want to use it. This texture pack has been surpassed because you sat around and did nothing! I'll give you a week before I come back. I'm not saying it has to be finished just that it needs all the textures to work on 1.7.9 and possibly 1.8.0
Hey, Dark, don't be a ****. Creating texture packs takes a lot of time and effort, especially for an HD pack of such great quality. If you are getting tired of waiting for updates, fine. Use something else. But there's no need to post about it in the thread. If you like the pack, just have a little patience. People like Tobi have lives outside of these packs, and they don't live to serve the unwashed masses demanding new updates.
So glad your back working on it. I really miss this pack

Here is how I layer my packs.
1. Snowsong - For Epic sound.
2. Pixel Reality Luminance - Epic Lighting.
3. Inspiration 30v for 1.7 (Ported by me) <DOWNLOAD LINK - Why only the most epic texture pack in the world!
4. Lithos - A very good texture pack based on Faithful that I think blends well with Inspiration and textures what Inspiration does not.
