What are your thoughts on mod support? Between Tekkit and Feed The Beast there are a lot of mods whose blocks and items could really use some more love in the textural department...
I want this pack to be FTB compatible. I have a friend who was interested in helping me make it so. I've been planning on recruiting more people to help since it's such a huge task. I should really get on that, considering I've been putting it off for months...
First I want to say what an awesome pack this is. i would use it all the time if this didn't occur:
Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.
This was just an oversight when converting the pack to 1.5 compatibility. I failed to include a file that makes the animation work. Here's a fixed version of the pack. This is a preview of the coming version 29 too, with a few more textures done: carrots, potatoes, redstone block, etc.

THINGS THAT ARE BROKEN:
Nether Portal has a missing texture
Compass is missing it's arrow
Chicken, potatoes, carrots, and armour are default. (I assume they aren't complete)
I'll post more if I find anything else
EDIT: Hunger, armour, exp bar are vanilla default.
(I saw your post above seeing how that you are going to add carrot and potato textures)
Anyways, bookmarked this page as this is a great pack.

Thanks for the info and the compliment. I've already fixed the issues you've mentioned, and I'm working on getting the user interface done. I'll try to get these fixes/changes out ASAP.
Anyone having trouble with compasses not showing the needle? I used McPatcher, nothing. I converted the texture pack using McPatcher, nothing. If anyone may know how to fix the compass, please let me know. The clock works fine, btw. Also, is the title "Minecraft" supposed to be at the title screen? It's not there for me.

Check post #1122 above - it has a download of v28a that fixes compass and other things. The title screen doesn't have 'Minecraft' on purpose.
This pack is just what I've been looking for: A pack that has an amazing sky, bright but a little rpg, and just happy. It's so beautiful. *sniff*
But really, it's amazing and it's clear you've put a lot of hard work into this pack.

Thanks! I have indeed put a lot of work into it. Much more to do before I consider it perfected.
If I do say so myself, I believe I am looking at a truly amazing texture pack! DL'ing now. Diamonds to you.
EDIT: Upon further investigation, I have exactly one thing to harp on: in the font, slashes and backslashes face the same way. I like making my pretty downward and upward facing arrows with text, so I'd like to see that fixed, because right now my arrows look like

Other than that, it REALLY IS a great pack! Looking forward to seeing you round off those last few textures (i.e. firework, nether star, mob heads)!
Define Cute (choose 1): A) Creepers Aerbunnies C) Herobrine. If you chose A): You appeal to destruction and to stereotypes. If you chose B): You are a perfectly normal person, and enjoy the Aether Mod. If you chose C): Please leave the planet now before you set off a nuclear warhead--no one enjoys mass murders, however nice they might seem to you.

Oh wow, I can't believe no one had told me this yet. I must have forgotten to flip the character for backslash. I just fixed it for next version though. I'll get all these miscellaneous undone textures done soon.
Back in 1.2.5 I noticed something awesome night in MC were dark dark. As in outside of a light source you could only just make out the terrain you couldn't see anything otherwise.
But in 1.3.2 the effect went away night were basically normal MC nights. AFAIK the nights are still normal.
I'm just wondering did you change anything for 1.2.5 that would have made nights dark? and if you did could you please bring it back. I loved it.

The darkness was a result of my custom lightmap. I've since deleted that lightmap and reverted to default because many people said they disliked it. I agree with them - it makes the game annoying to play; it becomes harder to see creepers at night, harder to navigate caves, etc. A little dim lighting goes a long way to making the game more playable. With the thought in mind, as well, that the Minecraft fanbase is largely children, I decided to make my pack less scary.

This is an amazing pack, so thank you for all your hard work.
I grabbed the fixed version you posted above (28a) and it resolved the nether portal and a few other things--but, for some odd reason, all of my water is animated but white. Lava, the nether portals, and other animations all seem to be fine.

The water uses a file called watercolorX.png to determine the color of water based on biome. For this file to be used, MCPatcher is necessary. I'm not sure if Optifine works. I'm sorry for this, as I know some people prefer Optifine, but if I don't use this water coloring method, things like bottles of water, dripping water, and bouncing raindrops don't get colored - they remain gray. If you've already used MCPatcher, you may need to repatch if you installed other mod's afterwards. 'Cusom Colors' is the box that needs to be checked.

I'm curious is there any way I can bring it back for myself? and thanks for the reply.
