i absolutely love this pack so far. havent really disliked anything other than the end textures. the end blocks need to be changed, something more dark. like a cross between obsidian and cobblestone perhaps. i have one suggestion and i know that you have put ALOT of time and effort into this pack, but i would LOVE to see this pack work with the Feed The Beast MOD launcher that i have now begun to play more than Vanilla Minecraft. making it work for that would hands down be purely EPIC!

Sure, let's see what you've got. I think how I'm going to do it is ask everyone for submissions and just choose each best individual texture that fits the item and the pack style best.

Thank you for the outstanding texture pack. I have one oddity though; my torch light flickers a lot and I get a strange pattern of dark and light circles all over the place outdoors. Do you have any idea what's causing this? (I've not experienced this with other packs.)

The flicker is by design, and is so slight that I didn't expect anyone to really notice it. The dark blotches you are seeing might be the result of the way I've set up the lightmap. Basically I made the light drop off to darkness rapidly after light level 7, so that players can more easily see where they need to place torches to prevent hostile mob spawning. Is it annoying/ugly? You can just make the light level constant until level 7. It may look better than the random darkness. Maybe you can add the effect at light level 3 or 2, because if you are branch mining and put torches on the top block, light level 3 the best place to put a torch. If you place torches on the ground, level 2 is the best place to put a torch (Because light is measured where your head is)
No I don't, not with any certainty, sorry. I've never heard of it doing that before. Do any other packs with Better Skies do it? Try John Smith's pack to see. It could be a video card incompatibility or a conflict with another mod, if you have others installed.

The first error says the image for high noon wasn't found. That's purposeful - I deleted that sky effect because it wasn't necessary.
The final error comes right after "initializing Connected Textures" so I'm assuming there must be some kind of problem there. Are you using any other mods? Optifine maybe? It could be an incompatibility.
I googled "1281: Invalid value" and came up with some hits. Looks like it's an OpenGL error, which explains the "GL ERROR." Beyond that, I don't know. No one else has had this problem. Do the skies of other packs such as John Smith and Derivation still work for you?

In John Smith the clouds work (in yours they don't) but the sky is still white- It must be a video card problem. I noticed that no one else is having this problem which does make it frustrating- I did start to wonder if it could be my java since i have both 32 and 64 installed. But I am pretty sure others have two versions of java installed and don't have this problem. maybe I will uninstall one and see. But I can't see how this is related.

Do you know why the cool skies don't show up with Optifine?

Curse PremiumThe skies can only be seen if you use MCPatcher, which comes with the Better Skies mod. Optifine doesn't have it.
Not sure what that could be. A screenshot might help me identify the problem.
