Texture pack related: Is it just me or does the new stone look like elephant skin? I'm not sure if I like it or not. Every time I see it, I think of elephant knees. LoL

It doesn't work with the tekkit mod pack I tried installing MCPatcher (only the better skies), does nothing :'(

Yay, update! What I've noticed so far:

• I know you wanted to change your font to get away from looking like Faithful, but the one you chose now looks like Sphax. Not a big deal, just thought I should point it out.
• Did you change the lighting or lighten all the textures? My usually dark house seems brighter and cheery. Either way, I like it. :3
• Side grass and bed looks good. I did notice that the bed sprite is blue though. Minor discrepancy.
• I love the new noteblock and jukebox, I was never a fan of the Mouth of Truth looking texture.
• I also like the beaker-of-water look to the brewing stand. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the old one, it had a more mystic feel. The new one says "Science!" and I like it.
• The only thing I wasn't too fond of is the new grass sprite. It's definitely the old school RPG look, it's just too thick for my liking. Which is fine, I can edit in one of your old textures.

All in all, good job... props... much love... you go boy... and all that jazz. Great work as usual.

Afterthought: How often does a shooting star go by? I've seen it once by chance, but I haven't seen another one since. LoL

For some reason i don't see any clouds when i use this texture pack help please...

I didn't change the lighting, no. Not this version.

I'm going to redo the whole items sheet soon, so blue bed will be fixed. I've been putting it off, just like the noteblock. That old man's head was one of the ORIGINAL release textures - a year and a half old.

Grass - I can see what you mean. The reason the blades are so thick is because I thought it would make them less noisy while still letting them stand out as individual blades. I'll see if I can trim them down some for next week. Unless you meant the sprite as a whole - that it is too big and obtrusive. If that's the case I hope you'll come around; I don't like those old thin anemic grasses I had. I want my greenery to be lush. I'm redoing all of it, from flowers to vines to saplings.

Right now there's only one shooting star. It appears at midnight. Did you make a wish?

I was watching your old videos, and I realized how much I missed the time lapse of you making your textures. If you aren't too busy with your book, texture pack, and DayZ, do you mind if you do some livestreaming and/or time lapses?

Use MCPatcher. If you have optifine installed, then download MCPatcher, and UNCHECK EVERYTHING except for Better Skies.

I've been thinking about doing some of that kind of stuff. Maybe an enderdragon skinning when I get around to it? Not sure. I can't do livestreams currently because my xsplit license ran out. Although my friends tell me there's a free version...

Just transfer the terrain FOLDER(not terrain.png) from my pack into your pack.

North star is a simple yet ingenious idea.

I still don't get the north star/shooting star stuff in your pack. And yes, I am dumb with astrology.
