I've made like... $100 from on this ad.fly. XD That's over the course of 8 months. They really don't pay much at all. But hey, that's like seven or eight pizzas.
Or you can use Optifine-smooth or Optifine-MultiCore.
The reason I say read the OP, as to be honest, to save any unnecessary pain with working out issues, you should follow the Apple policy, if you did something we didn't design it for, then it's not our problem.
Eg, install aftermarket RAM to your laptop, they wont process a warranty claim until you put their ram back in.
I think it's fair to say that you should use MCPatcher, after all, you can use both MCPatcher and Optifine together, just untick the HDFonts, HDTextures and Better Grass options and you're good to go.
Hmmm... not to be a troll or anything, but...
How's the customizer coming up?
BTW: The new sandstone is just friggin awesome. 10/10
I did work on the customizer but... well... it's easier to show you.
The sun is screwed up, the moon is default, text is destroyed, gui is destroyed, vignette is off centered...
This is the same reason I haven't had a customizeable version for the longest time. Every time I try minecraftcustomizer.net, it does weird crap like this. Last time it wouldn't display my custom fire right. Now it's screwing up all kinds of miscellaneous stuff.
Maybe it's my fault because I didn't upload right, or because I use unusual resolutions for many of my pack files, or maybe it's their fault for only providing support for 'normal' texture packs... and mine is not one of those.
So I don't know what to do. I'm not wading through their silly website for hours trying to figure out what went wrong. And I'm definitely not sorting through my pack and changing a dozen textures to match their standards.
I'd much rather have a standalone customizer, much like Flying Sheep's Customizer for John Smith, but I think that one doesn't offer mob customization, etc., etc., etc., just terrain. Could be wrong though, I'm about to look into it. Either way, maybe I'll just set up one of those for now so that you can at least customize terrain.
Does anyone know of any other customization options? Or is someone a programmer/whatever that can create a customizer?
Edit: After further inspection of Flying Sheep's customizer... I don't know what the hell it's talking about.

That's not a lot. That's surprisingly little, actually. Did you know there is a site similar to adf.ly that specializes on Minecraft content? From what I've heard it pays 4-5 times more than adf.ly.

Perhaps I or/others can offer our services to get the Customizer going for you Tobi? I know you said in your recent video that you wanted to give more time to youtube videos (your tower is great btw) which this texture packs eats into and not to mention this additional service. The only thing I wouldn't be sure about is hosting; I'm not sure what kind of numbers your pack gets but if it's anything like your youtube subs count per release then my own storage wouldn't be able to handle it without upgrading.
I usually get about 300-400 downloads per weekday, maybe 600 on weekends, and usually about 1000 per day for a few days after I update for a major MC patch.
Some help would be hot. The only problems are that only I know what textures should be alts, and that this wouldn't just be a one-time thing - I would need to keep adding textures, so I guess you would have to show me how it works after you set up the first wave of textures.
Tried Flying Sheep's out. Couldn't make the new one (which is full texturepack dl and can include mobs) work (I think it's because I couldn't get the list.py file), but the old was not a problem. http://ichti.dk/MC/old/index.xhtml
just tried some with the changes of v16 and v17.
as the guy above me say, I'm sure someone is willing to help you keeping a customizer up to date, so you don't even have to think much about it yourself. I wouldn't mind helping you out
This newer customizer sounds promising. Don't know what a list.py file is, but it sounds important. XD
I guess mobs don't really need to be customizeable though. Any mob skin I make will just be added to the random mobs lineup. People don't really need to be able to choose them.
I think I'm going to try my hand at getting Sheep's newer customizer working, so nevermind PixelPop. I just feel like I should be the one to work it out rather than being lazy and getting someone else to do it.
The only thing keeping me from downloading this pack is the fact that some of the items have black outlines. I absolutely hate the outlines. Remove them, then I'll use this pack.

I'm going to redo the items sheet soon. I'll make sure to use no black outlines.

Tobiwan I watch your videos and follow you. I use your texture pack more then any other one. I think your amazing, but I have one question. When will the next update come out? Because I saw that you had changed it a little bit in your live stream. It's worth waiting for so don't feel like you have to force your genious as fast as possible.
Have A Nice Day

I plan on putting that out soon, probably within a couple days. I just wanted to fix a couple things, then see if there was anything else I wanted to add.

Read the very first line in the OP.
The odd thing is he has MCPatcher open in his taskbar...
