Oh don't worry, even if one isn't using MCPatcher, they will still have a static texture in place for any given animated texture. Plus, MCPatcher and Optifine are semi-compatible. You just have to disable a couple MCPatcher options when you use them together, as it says in the Optifine OP.
Here's a pre-release with the new gui if you want it.
True... I was just thinking there are plenty of people who struggle to use things such as the MC Patcher, or Optifine on their own, let alone combine them together successfully..
I've used MC Patcher to install optifine before myself :tongue.gif:
How about adding a different skin for the char.png file? When you do that, the default skin in Minecraft is changed. Just an idea :wink.gif:
Umm... from memory it _was_ changed? With the big nasty grin face? Unless he revered that back. Also no point making the default char.png high res, as it looks odd next to custom skins which are restricted to the default res...

I'm not sure, but this would be something good to add to the OP if it's true.
Brilliant texture pack, but the wheat at the last stage seems a bit pale and dead, I like to use this when exploring nature buildings and biomes, it just seems to go with the flow of minecraft nature.
That's how wheat crops look when they are ready for harvest in the real world mate... Google Images Search:wheat harvest
I think it's pretty reasonable they way they look. After all, you don't see random wheat plants growing in the wild usually either.
I love this texture pack, but for some reason, some of the textures are messed up.
The netherrack looks like the default texturepack's water, part of the pumpkins is lava from the default texture pack, bricks have part of your texture, and the rest is fire, nether portal texture, and just clear. Part of the gold blocks have just fire, and the spiders in the new v14 update are covered in like a fog, so they look almost white.
Is there any way to fix this?
Other than that, this is he nest texturepack I have ever seen.

To fix that, just follow the installation instructions in the original post.
The new GUI is fantastic.
If I could give one recommendation, it would be to change the tools. They seem fairly flat.
It's a pretty minor complaint though; it looks like you really intended the pack to be used for creative mode/major builds and it really excels for that.

I've found that the best way to avoid those posts is to put a link to the patcher in the downloads section before the actual download, because many people seem to have tunnel vision around any section labeled 'download'.

Agreed, about the tools. They haven't been updated since v1, and have long been in need of an overhaul. I'll look at your tools to get some ideas. ;D A lot of my textures need reworking, but especially the items.
Great pack yourself, by the way. One of the few that I keep in my packs folder. I especially love all of your 'furniture' items - crafting table, chests, furnaces, pistons, jukebox, etc.

Actually I just checked, and looks as though he reverted it back to default. Never mind

Why is this a reason not to get the pack?
I think he poo'd a little when he saw them :wink.gif:
From what I know of texturing, that's kind of a large request...
Thanks, I will.
Thanks man, still working hard and playing hard. :smile.gif: v15 update coming tomorrow(Sunday, 4 Feb)
I'm actually changing the redstone in the upcoming v15. I think you'll like the new version.
I'm not satisfied with all of the items either. I'll be redoing them a few at a time, when I feel like doing items.
Eh, with items it's not so hard. I could redo the whole item sheet in about 12 hours. The hard stuff is anything that has to be seamless.
At first I read this and thought "12 hours!?", but then I remembered the total amount of time that you've spent on the pack thus far...:tongue.gif:
Woo!! Looking forward to it Tobi mate :smile.gif:
If the rest of it is as good as your GUI, cant wait :biggrin.gif:
I'm surprised no-one has mentioned your armour for a while...
Ha yeah, it's pretty ridic. Some would call me obsessive, I prefer 'dedicated'.
Compiling the update now.
Yeah, the armor guys stopped bugging me, thank god. I should do at least the iron armor soon though.

Only gripe I have is the new CobbleStone has too much coloured noise for my liking, needs to be desaturated a little maybe?
