I really like this pack, it's one of my favorites, but when I hit a block it like, brightens a bit. I have MCPatcher installed and works fine, but the brightening is kind of annoying. I'll post some pics...

Wow. That's all I can say. Everything looks amazing. I especially like the creepers! Most creative creepers I've ever seen! And it also looks like you put a lot of effort into the sun. Looks nice with the suns rays. It brightens up to mood of Minecraft. The only thing I can really find wrong with it from the screenshots is the Netherrack. It looks a lot like Red Wool. Maybe you can add something more to it? Just my personal opinion. Everything else is perfect. My new favorite pack.
Downloading now. And by the way, you seem like you're good at Graphics. Maybe you should make a signature for it. It would make it a lot easier to get this out.

This is completely intentional. I, for one, like it because it makes it easier to know which block I'm hitting.

Going too high of a resolution ruins the whole minecraft feel, IMO.

Yeah pixelly art is much more pleasant in MC for me. Although I have to say Sphax Pure DB pulls off high res very well. That's the only one I know of though.

Thanks. :smile.gif: I've put a lot of effort into every part of the pack, including the sun, yes. Pretty sure the netherrack you're seeing in sshots is the stuff from v1, which was a looooong time ago.

Awesome! Added to my signature. And btw, tried it out in-game, and it looks amazing! The only thing I can say I don't like is the lighting up, and I still somewhat like that. And I subbed to your Youtube channel. Dang, I gotta say you're good at what you do; whether it's commentating or making art.

Optifine is cool for all the options it gives you, and the decent fps increase of course, but I recommend MCPatcher, especially in the future! In future updates of my pack, I'll be including certain animated textures, such as diamonds that glitter, torches with animated fire, etc. These animated textures will only be viewable on MCPatcher - Optifine doesn't support them.
When you go down that path, it would be dumb not to include an Optifine compatible pack, as you would lose a lot of supporters I'm sure. As I know there are tonnes of people with sucky PCs that need Optifine to run the game. Especially at anything above the default 16x

I always update the pack to a new version when I've got enough new stuff to warrant it. That said, the new upcoming gui is definitely worth it, so I'll be going to v15 pretty soon. Just need to finish up a few more things.
But if you just can't wait a few more days, here's a pre-release. Just keep in mind that certain things are WIP, especially the planks, which I'm going to be totally redoing.

Oh don't worry, even if one isn't using MCPatcher, they will still have a static texture in place for any given animated texture. Plus, MCPatcher and Optifine are semi-compatible. You just have to disable a couple MCPatcher options when you use them together, as it says in the Optifine OP.
Here's a pre-release with the new gui if you want it.
Glourious Tobiwan, i have been following this pack for a while, i belive around when it started. And after trying it out on my crappy old 2005 macbook it lagged like hell :sad.gif:. But since i have built a new epic pc i can nmow use this pack in all its glory. Long story short this pack is very nice!
