I'm about to download this pack now,it looks awesome!I do have a question though,I'm sure you're super busy with MC and making the pack in general,but is there any chance you would ever add in textures for the Better Than Wolves mod?
Man you have got to find a way to get this out to the general pub;ic. it is easily one of the top ten texture packs on the minecraft forums..... also idea!!!! when u finish, could you make two or three alternate texture packs? you know basicly the same as this but with some of the diferent environmental looks you looked through but decided not to use because even with how awesome of a job you've done on this thing, I STILL WANT A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT LOOK EvERY ONCE IN A WHILE!!!!! i have that problem every once in a while where some of the older texture packs you had for the beta look better on my houe than the 1.0 compatible.... it makes me set fire or tnt to the house everytime! STOP THE ONSLAUGHT!!!!!

To both you and maosmrk below - I have no plans currently to add mod compatibility. Maybe someday, if I feel up to it. But for now, I've still got many vanilla textures to add before I even think about doing mod textures.

Thanks man. I dunno, it's growing in popularity on it's own. If people like it, they'll tell people about it. I don't feel like I need to advertise. And about alternate versions - I hope for this pack to someday be so customizable that a user will be able to make their world look however they want. That will take a while though, as I don't work on it nearly as much as I used to, at the beginning. Baby steps, though - I'll get there eventually, one texture at a time.
Just updated to v12, but I got a bit sad about the change in the redstone blocks. I don't like the gold thing, but that's just an opinion I guess.
Also, I think it could be a bit clearer whether the redstone is turned off or on (especially the wire).
But it might be cool for architecture stuff, I wouldn't know about that. :tongue.gif:
I might make some changes to the redstone again in upcoming versions. I realize this new gold embellished version might be a little less clear. To be honest I made it on a whim and only spent about 30 minutes on it, so I think I can do it a little better next update. Maybe I could change the gold to silver? I would have to give it it's own more unique redstone torch then, as the current one would look too much like the regular torch. Food for thought. TL;DR - I might fix it.

Someone did, but then they said it wasn't quite good enough for their tastes, and that they would get back to me with an improved one. Guess he lost interest. But I could probably whip a decent one up that befits the theme of the pack. Maybe I'll do that this week.
i have yet to see every new block yet from v12 and v13, (i missed v12 oops!)

seen a few of the resources and they look banging too
now, the smoothstone is really meh, i loved the v11 smooth!
the redstone (goldstone now?) i really do not like.
i like the idea behind what you did, but the gold is not sitting well
if i could texture, i would do something more like a gunpowder trail with a few specs of gold in there. and maybe put a boarder on it so it looks like someone took the time to gouge into whatever it's sitting on. for the repeaters, instead of dressing it up, dress it down, make it either look dirty and worn down with scuffs on the sides, or maybe put some elegant scroll work on it in gold.
another idea would be to go back to the v11, make it a little fatter (can you?) and then run the gold through the center, my only concern about the gold is when it's off it POPS and makes the wire look really dull.
i will say this about your redstone, the v11 redstone was the reason i downloaded your pack to begin with, clean cut, nice junctions, etc.
i would love it if in the next pack you would do the skelly's it makes me sad seeing their defaultness roaming around the awesomeness you has created
and one last thing, i was just looking though the screenshots and i LOVE the new enchanting table, but the only thing i would say is there may be a little too much gold on the face, all i would do is put a little red dot in the middle to brake it up.
i would like say that even though i criticize, i do LOVE the pack. you do great work Tobi
