Does it exist? I have googled and watched the fourms and I haven't seen a texture pack reverting the grass back to alpha light green.

I think the grass still has the same texture as it did in Alpha. Are you thinking of a ~~mod~~ texture pack that gets rid of biome-specific grass colors?
