I thought I would throw my hat into the ring for making texture packs, so I made Checkercraft.
It's a simple 16x16 texture pack, I wanted to get some feedback on it. If you want to download it, there is a link below.

I was bored one day, & while looking in the texture packs on the forums, I decided to make one myself. Since its my first pack, I decided to make it simple.
Well I've been busy while the site has been down, for those of you who don't know this is checkercraft! During the site being down, I thought, "why not come back with new content?"
Pictures:
As you can see, its very boxy.
I plan on more pictures when I get around to it, I'll probably do it next time I update it.

Note:It has its own lava & water textures, but they don't work even with the MC Pather. If you know how to fix this, PLEASE let me know. Otherwise feel free to mess with it to see if you can get it to work!

This texture pack looks a little like mine but except for the squares on the block but i like it aswell i always love simple texture packs :biggrin.gif:
I like the most simplistic stylish Textures, I dunno why some people complaints about reality textures into a surrealist game, stored to the compilation :3
do you still have the problem with the lava flow? because you might need a custom lava flowing picture. it's just a single square 16x16 for you and then another one below attached to the first one but the picture is different it's like the picture of the lava but it moved down a couple of pixles. or you might have the outdated Mcpatcher. I think it maybe either one of those two. (sorry if the first part confussed you I'm not very good at explaining these types of things without a picture or two)

I do, but I also have a lava & water picture, its in the .zip with the "with lava & water" download, & I made sure I have an up to date patcher. What happens is the textures appear, they just become still. Whats weird is I used xau's last version of his patcher & it worked but I don't know how. Now when I use the certain minecraft.jar it works. Any answers to that?
