I created this texture pack along with a map, but if you like the horror style, there is absolutely no reason it can't be used on its own.





Minor changes in version 1.2: the bed was a bit messed up, that is fixed. A couple textures have minor tweaks.

It should also be noted that if you have MCPatcher, this pack has a custom water texture.

I am willing to entertain any ideas for improving the pack, especially if someone is better at skinning mobs and making weapons and armor.

Pretty unique aesthetic as far as texture packs go, I haven't seen another one like it. This will be great for my little Silent Hill reproduction.

Over 400 downloads to date! Awesome. I'll be updating it with 1/7 and a new pigzombie texture later this week.

Holy crap, friends, almost 1,000 downloads!

Good incentive for me to get it updated fast after 1.7. Just pistons and shears are new, I think, shouldn't take me long.

A couple of glitches with the 1/7 texture pack -- apparently, for example, the bed moved, so now my bed looks like it's been sliced in half. I should be able to update it shortly.

I'd love to -- not sure what "can't get it to work" means -- what happens when you download it and copy it into your "texture packs" folder? Does it show up on your textures menu? Does it load but look wrong?

Can someone give me a tutorial of how to download and put this in minecraft? idk how :sad.gif:

Here's a very basic video on how to install a texture pack:

i downloaded it and put it in, and nothing...

The zip file (do not unzip it) is in the texture packs folder at username/appdata/.minecraft/texturepack (or something like that) and it does not show up on the textures and mods menu (which you access BEFORE you start or enter a map)?

I have fixed the link, both links should go to the texture pack now.

The file name is Crimson Asylum Texture 1.2.zip
