It makes me wonder though, was there any bone mold armor in Morrowind that was stronger than glass (assuming that your medium and light armor skills were equal to give a good judgment)
Nope.
I think diamond should be glass, gold should be the imperial templar armor, iron should be orcish, daedric, or dwemer, and leather should be bonemold or chitin. (But I read that they were done already so whatever)
Im thinking you can make dirt and grass look more "realistic" as in its current state it doesnt remind me of morrowind or oblivion... but i love the concept and hope that it looks more realistic in certain areas...

I am posting a new version up that fixes this and adds more
I don't really mind, just showing it since it was brought up again, as I said before, I find it.... handy :wink.gif:
Anyway, love using this pack, I may even try to recreate the whole of Vvardenfell using this pack as best I can, which may require some hacking..... not that I want to.... but hopefully it won't! I will post some screen shots as I get on doing that!

That'd be awesome! Vvardenfell is actually bigger than Cyrodiil, though, and it'd probably take forever. Good luck! If you get anywhere with it, you should post a link or something, there are absolutely no Morrowind maps on the forums (with the exception of Vivec's temple, I wouldn't really consider it a full map).

Thanks! It will take a while to do, but I have already started and have a plan. As I am also currently modding Morrowind at this present time, it makes it easier for me to get the lay out of the land, and so the first thing I will do is try to recreate the first place you end up in.... the ship and Seyda Neen! No Jiub unfortunately.... :sad.gif: maybe some day though..... Anyway, after I get that done (buildings and all) I will go for caves and underground places. I won't be including the tribunal update, as with this pack the snow is the ashlands..... however I will do the best I can to get it as close as I can to the original! Now then, back to Seyda Neen!

There's a word in between the lines: scale. Vvardenfell is only "bigger" than cyrodiil because Oblivion was designed on a smaller scale than Morrowind. A map of Tamriel will show you what I mean. Ergo, a scale Vvardenfell (i've got one in the works, i'll have to post when it's done) is not out of the question.

O_o I sure hope you mean just change it back to snow and not get rid of it entirely..... that would be bad, lol.
Anyway, I can use something else as the ashlands then and so I would be able to at the very least include the Blood moon expansion. No word really if I will do tribunal.... that would take more texture than I can imagine using.... and I wouldn't want to request that you do a whole lot of things over to make it work.
I do however have some ideas if you would like to hear them.
Spider can be the dwarven spiders... just got to hack off some legs
Chickens.... what to do with those evil little.... anyway... They drop egss, which makes me think of kwama eggs, which makes me think of the little kwama foragers that were easy to kill... so if you think that would work.
Sheep as guar (I honestly can't think of anything else they could be... really)
And the wools could have different textures on them, such as telvani textures
Again, just my thoughts and you don't have to use them at all, I will take no offense!
Wait... I didn't know there was the update.... so.... what are the sheep? Are they Pack guars? They kind of look like it, but I have to be sure... Anyway, Good job so far!

I love your pack!!!!
Sorry I was not clear when I said this, I am probably going to change snow back to the norm.
So far so good. I can't seem to see the birch saplings, but that isn't so bad! Glad you updated it to the 1.7 level!
On a side note, been working on Seyda Neen, and it is coming along nicely, hard to proportion things right in minecraft with Morrowind, but it is still going to be as close as minecraft allows! Haven't had much time to work on the map with being at work so much, but have tomorrow and the next day off, so I will be putting in a lot of work!

Hey, if you get enough done, how would you like to make a video featuring this texture pack on your map? I'd make one myself, but I have been rather busy lately (not even on the pack! I'm going to visit my bro in Ukraine for a while, and have been preparing and doing tons of chores and such). Right now, the char.png is my Jiub skin, but with clothing (and noise; it was Fadingthrower who added the clothing, as my original was just the basic Morrowind undies! My original Jiub can be found on the Skindex) and it'd be preferable if you don't use a custom skin or just play offline.
Anyways, we're having trouble with deciding on what the chicken would be. A scrib is simply too short and flat and it would just look very odd (odder than the Guar having huge forelegs and no tail). A rat would produce the same problem, but not as bad. A baby cliff racer COULD work, but there are absolutely no baby cliff racers in the game.
My suggestions are either:
1: Mud Crab
2: Pack Rat (found in the Tribunal expansion)
3: Baby Cliff Racer
4: and both last and least, Verminous Fabricant (also from the Tribunal expansion)
You may share whatever ideas you have, and if you find some existing textures in the pack not living up to expectations (other than bugs), such as such-and-such being too noised up, or this-and-that not being colored right, we are going to fix up some stuff when the pack is nearly complete.
Meh, its alright! I just thought it was a good idea, not necessary.
Fix please.
I mentioned that before, but here it is.

Sandstone should be bonemold.

What about the Nether materials? Soul sand can be ash.
I am probably going to remove the snow.
