Hello everyone, my name is Pcow. This is a texture pack I made and is ready for 1.8 :biggrin.gif: , and I'm only 10! (Download it here: http://adf.ly/2fDHs ) I guess that proves that making a texture pack is pretty easy. Anyway, It's basically just like mostly checker-boarded blocks. I know... I know... sounds a little boring. But hey, It's my first one. The The creepers are cupcake monsters (they still explode) and Steve (Your character) is a skeleton. The real skeletons are pigmen. The swords are light sabers. (Wooden sword = blue light saber. Stone sword = green light saber. Iron sword = red light saber. Gold sword = yellow light saber. (I know they don't exist, but who cares?) And the diamond sword is a purple light saber.)
Hope you like it!
Being able to use correctly paint, and to understand some .zip files structure at your age is great.
However, I may raise some doubts about the quality of your pack.
I mean, you did what a 10 years old kid would do, i.e writing STUFF on the chest, making happy faces to the pumpkins and smileys on your logs.
So, well done for your computer knowledge, but you may have to work a bit more on it before sharing some random things that make you laugh.
And, by the way, I'm sure that a better presentation would make it easier to understand.
For your future work, when you'll be 1 or 2 years older, don't forget to make screenshots, and to post them directly on the forum.
Thanks for liking my texture pack, and sorry for forgetting about the screenshot. And yes, Some of the things ARE pretty childish, like how the creeper is a cupcake monster. Although I didn't know exactly how to upload the screenshot. I mean after all, I am only 10. And I was not trolling.
While this is technically correct, I must take issue with it.
While effort does not automatically make something good, it does make it far more likely to be good. Something you spend five minutes in paint drawing could be a masterpiece, but it's far more likely to look like a bunch of random scribbles. Conversely, something you spend hours upon hours drawing and perfecting could end up being totally awful, but, again, it's far more likely to be much better if you take the time to fix it up and add details, etc.

Sorry if that offends some people...

That's what I was thinking too, when I uploaded it.
