Sprite Something is more robust. Tiny Pixels is minimalist but feels good to draw in. If I had to pick one, I would go for the expanded capabilities of Sprite Something. I definitely like and use both.
Thanks, Glimmar! I think the unified color palette helps with keeping harmony between the tiles.
Working on new leaves and then possibly top grass. I'm a regular Walt Whitman. :tongue.gif:
These are really cool leaves, but it's a little vertically inclined, doesn't look completely natural. Maybe if you added another leaf to the forefront it would look more natural?

"Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say that there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe." -Frank Zappa
I've been without power for two days and posting from a tethered iPad. I haven't tested the texture in game as a result and can't really speak to your criticism one way or the either until I do. Leaves can be tricky.
those leaves look great in those screens, however, i cant see them looking so great when the leaf blocks are on their own, like when they're being used as bushes, granted, i haven't used the leaf texture yet.
I do like how you've made the soul sand a viable building material now though.
out of interest, are those pics from a server or from a single player map?
I can release it now if you don't mind using the Cartoon pack's mobs, items, and gui elements. The terrain is complete minus a few tweaks. (Topgrass, evergreen tree, and breaking animation tiles are probably going to change.)

Cool totem pole, too!
Thanks! Me either. It seemed logical enough to try.
Color is half the fun!
Server!
Your breaking animation lights up the whole block, was this intentional? If it is maybe darken it just a bit, I think it's a little too bright.
I really love the cobblestone, it's just perfect.
Also will you be making an animated water texture to use with MCPatcher?
FIXED. That's how to stop people from continually pestering you about it.
