I'm getting a lot of feedback about the terrain. Which is good. The problem is that I could, literally, spend the next year perfecting the terrain and never move forward. I tend to do that with things. So I want some feedback. Should I perfect the terrain before continuing or should I finish up the pack and then go back and do bug fixes and touch ups?

EDIT: I think you should go ahead and finish the rest of the pack, then come pack for touch-ups.

Hmm, the poll was messed up a bit there. It is fixed now. Thanks for the feedback so far. I think I will finish my experiment with the water animation first.

Well...That didn't work at all. The amount of editing I would have to do to make the renders tile would nullify anything I could have gained in time. Back to the drawing board.

Here is a screenshot of some alternate cobble I threw together. I think that, after I have finished out the mobs and items I am going to do a set of alternates oriented more towards building.

Yeah, When I was building that last night I noticed some tiling issues with the other cobble. Tiling issues that will require me to redraw the entire thing to fix. So I decided to experiment. I like what I came up with but I know that people tend to like natural cobble better so this will be an alt. I will fix the other cobble tomorrow most likely.

I keep noticing things while I am playing that make me shake my head and wonder how I havn't been flamed for being so sloppy more often. For example there is a gap in the small chest the makes a small world hole. That is annoying.

On another note I am beginning to wonder if I should rename the pack. The more I work at things and improve my skill the more I move away from the impressionistic look. Maybe I should put another poll up...
