Bugger it, did a quick tester while at work, couldn't help myself :biggrin.gif:
Two things I noticed.. well 5.. but in two screenshots :tongue.gif:
Dirt, Cobble and MossyCobble have a slight tiling mis-alignment: http://db.tt/95vspAd
Clouds look... broken.. and the sun needs transparency around the outside so its not a big square haha http://db.tt/o3EhIkP
Other than that, I'm really liking this pack. Not 100% sure I'd use it for everyday play, but love it for ScreenShots of creations. Just think some of the textures might hurt the eyes after a little while, like the sand, in the distance it does funny things :tongue.gif:
Even the Glass has grown on me, especially when seeing it used for large windows. Might look odd in my glass domes tho..
I decided to take a second look at this and give fair judgement and would say that you did a good job of fitting it to its theme
The terrain actually looks like it's made from brush stokes and commonplace building materials look good in buildings
I'd say you did a nice job of things overall
Also took a couple screenshots of one of my more recent houses with it

Hmm, don't know how I missed the tiling problems, thanks for pointing that out. I agree about the sand I think that if I toned down the dark shading a bit it would fix the oddities. The obsidian is the same way. The clouds are.... weird. I am not sure why they look that way. I really don't like how minecraft handles them and I am not sure I will be able to get them just right. Think I may just go back to the default for a while until I have a lot of time to experiment. The sun...yeah...that was a slip up in my part. I redid the sun texture because what I had originally was actually kinda crappy. That fact was hidden by the brightness layer added to the texture in game. I redid it so that I could add it to the watch face and forgot to remove the coloration from around it.

Thanks, one of the things I was going for was textures that looked good in buildings so I appreciate the comment. Also, the last two posts helped me realize why my pack isn't hugely popular. Thankfully it doesn't make me feel bad, it just means that there may be a lot of screenshots of my work :biggrin.gif:

I can give you a whole heap of screen shots of interesting structures if you really need them haha.. Not hard, having a couple servers within a few clicks away :biggrin.gif:
I have a question. Did anyone notice anything about the water. Do you guys like or dislike it? I am considering redoing it to look more painted. It is kind of hard for me to judge that water fully as I use optifine now instead of the MCpatcher and it has extra clear water.

It looks good, just needs to be animated.
BTW you can animate water using the 5 squares in the terrain.png, each square is a frame. The "Custom Animation" stuff is for flowing water.
The water looks like ice at the moment. (also maybe make it a tad bluer?)
I like the texture, just needs to be a little more vivid, and only a LITTLE :wink.gif: and of course needs to move :biggrin.gif:
Hmm, I need to break out the onion skinning. Think I should do a flowing type? If I do it is going to be more painted looking. The water is tricky because it seems that for some people the water biome shading works and for others it doesn't. That's why it is currently grey because the biome shading gets added on my comp.

There's biome shading on the water? :blink.gif:
The water needs to look like it's fluid, rather than static. The "flowing" texture (see Misa's pack) can be done later. It's just the surface of still water that needs something happening.
I'll have a fail try at something when I get home, see if my theory works haha
This is what my water looks like with the default biome shading.
This is what the default water coloring looks like.
When I first saw that I was thinking that is was too drastic so I toned it down a bit for my pack. Sadly that seemed to completely remove the shading effect all together.

Updated the OP with new screen shots. I will hopefully get around to fixing the tiling errors this week but for now I have to work on a multimedia presentation for a charitable organization in my area.

wow!! that looks cool as! I have NEVER seen that before haha.. even though there is a water colour png in the vanilla game.. doesn't seem to use it. I even made it completely green and it still didn't do anything..
I think it may be one of your mods that's enabling it? I see you have wildgrass yea? (I see those vines in Image 2!) it may be that enabling it.
that water shading is definitely not a default thing at least for me, or cowedoffacliff
I think it may have something to do with optifine but I am not sure. I also use the yogbox. Other than that no mods.
YogBox looks interesting, also this is where the Water Biome stuff is:
Wonder how it goes with other stuff I have.. It includes ModLoader which is a plus :smile.gif: So I think that only leave the GLSL Shaders and Zombe's Mod pack..
EDIT: OptiFine isn't compatible with GLSL Shaders :sad.gif:
I am enjoying it so far, it will be the first mod I support when I am done with the default. Then I may move on to aether since it seems every texture pack is supporting it.

If notch ends up adding an aether style element to the official game, it might be worth it, at least so you have a head start on the actual textures. Even though no doubt notch will use different textures, and positions for them all :tongue.gif:
Just make sure you get the current vanilla textures sorted first :smile.gif:

Doing the Aether terrain textures for Drasavil was fun lol
Then as soon as Aageon got a hold of it he made them way better than I ever could have D:
This is nice..When i get tired of Misa i will use yours
Thanks, I appreciate your comment. :biggrin.gif:
So, I will have a bug fix update ready on Wednesday. It will include (hopefully) some fixing of tiling issues including reworked smooth stone and touch ups on the cobble and dirt. I have also reworked the sand to make it less noisy at a distance and I hope to, soon, get to work on the obsidian. I have also lightened the wood in the chests and crafting tables. If I have the time I plan on doing animated water, lava and fire this week as well. Hopefully after this bug fix update I can finally put the terrain aside for now and start working on items.
