Thanks, I have been considering making the diamond ores bigger.
Do you think the smooth stone looks a bit gritty?
Sorry I have been unavailable lately, but my brother passed away unexpectedly last Monday morning. I have been playing Minecraft again today for the first time to get my mind off things, and yes, I did notice that the smooth stone does look a little gritty. It's not that bad though, at least to my half blind eyes. LOL

Oh, wow, sorry to hear that.

Spent the livestream improving the ore textures. I also made an alt plank.
I really like the new ore textures (so glad you darkened up that coal a bit). I am in LOVE with the alt plank!!! Great Job! Can't wait to be able to use them!
I just realized that I haven't done the most of the textures that were added in the 1.9 beta series. So I am going to do those and release an update. Hopefully I can get them done tomorrow.

I actually realized that awhile back, but figured you were just working on them. Can't wait to use all the updated textures, but I am trying to be patient. :biggrin.gif:
After seeing your pics, I thought it would be really cool to finally try out that shader and get some screenshots of this pack. My computer can run this 128x with a little bit of lag vanilla. Now, with the shader, I get that same tiny bit of lag out of Jolicraft. Sorry that I won't be able get any cool screens with this pack, I tried.
Anyways, back your textures, I really wan't those planks! But I can wait to see what other textures you turn out. I got to say, I was a little tentative to say goodbye to impressions, but I really like the direction of vestige.

That shader is awesome, however it comes with some graphical glitches that make it...unbearable for me. Also, I can only run it at about 20 fps. For some strange reason the resolution of the pack did not effect my fps when I was running that shader.

Huh, just tried it, and realized it worked fine. I guess something was up with my computer that time.
So, I have been messing around with the minerraria mod and I kinda like it. However the textures are awful. so you may be seeing some mod support in the future. :smile.gif:

So, this update is taking a bit longer to get out than I expected. I recently started actually playing minecraft again and have noticed that a lot of my older textures have some major issues (halo around the ladder for example). Also, my 64x version apparently has some bugs that are unique to it. Things like stray pixels on the torch. If any of you are using the 64x version and have noticed any others please let me know.

Lets see, just ran through Kabs map with the 64, and here's what I've noticed.
The following have some griding, most of which seems to be due to what looks like being shifted 1 pixel over.
Bedrock, dirt, side grass, sand, snow, ice, and netherrack.
I only noticed 2 with tiling issues, and the were minor: Obsidian and Sandstone.
Also, the color on the speed/detector rails doesn't match the normal rails.
The main thing I noticed was how much I love this pack, I admit, I don't use it as often as I'd like
Loving the artsy impressionist style :biggrin.gif:. A few suggestions 1 you plan to do more of the items? 2 I think that the water/ rain texture need some tweaking. I'd say to make the water a bit darker and to darken the rain abit but really reduce the # of droplets on the rain.
-no rain
rain
I just think its abit distracting and hard to see the rest of minecraft
o and the language ui is blank me or you?

The language button is complete but not released yet. I have some other textures I need to finish and then I will be releasing them all at the same time. The water is...well...my very first attempt at a water texture. I will be doing something completely different when I get around to making an animation. Same for lava, which tiles horribly at the moment. The rain...I may change the color, not sure about the rest of it. I rather like to obscuring aspect. Of course I live in a place that rains....a lot...
Yes, I plan on doing items.

Have "fun" with the animations :biggrin.gif:. I'm ok with the obscuring vision is that the bright blue almost turquoise color takes away from the surrounding scenery

Planks
Ores (see if you can spot the difference)
And just for the hell of it.
Oh, very nice. When can we expect to get these textures for our won use?

I will look into changing the color of the rain.
