So, last night, when I was updating the 64x pack. I accidentally saved my psd file as the 64x resolution. now I am mad. Thankfully I was able to pull the terrain.png from the 128x .zip but I no longer have all my layers. *sigh*
Oh! I am also going to start a list of bug fixes in the second post of this thread. I tend to be rather disorganized and absent minded as you all may have noticed. If I don't so this I will loose track of the things that need fixin'

Presumably you then proceeded to close PhotoShop? If you still had it open you should have been able to roll the history back to before you resized and resaved the .PSD at 128? :wink.gif:
I will do an emergency update to fix a few really urgent bugs. (like the shitty grass biome shader). But beyond that I am not going to work on the pack this week. I want to try to get some work done on my other idea.

The name's Hyp, and I am trying to become a better artist!.
Nice to see ya on the server 42. Pack looks great! I never get time (or realize whose pack I missed) to get to different threads these days. Hyp kept acting like you (typing server messages)....got me twice
:biggrin.gif:
Take your time man. Or you'll end up frazzled like me

Like I said I am going to devote this week to other projects. I have an idea for a 16x or 32x pack that I have been wanting to do. Something that doesn't use filters :biggrin.gif:. Hopefully I will have enough together for a release this weekend.
Yeah, the server is coming along great. You have no idea how happy I am to have people on it again. It was a major let down for me when I set the thing up in the first place. Spent around 12 hours getting all the plugins to work properly and then all of my original members left Minecraft all together. *sigh* People.
I am going to do an emergency bug fix today. There are a lot of little errors that shouldn't be there and a few major ones as well.

Amazing pack! Everything seems to be special in its own way. Though, I suggest making the cracks of the cobblestone slightly darker to create a better depth.
The cobble has given me no end of trouble. I will look at upping the contrast. The problem is that if I give it too much depth it no longer blends well with the rest of the pack.
Update coming today. Currently in progress!
Bug Fixes:
Fixed tiling issue with plowed soil.
Fixed wierd golden halo around small cacti
Fixed the strangely missing lapis ore
Fixed the tops of snow not matching the side
Fixed brick tiling (again)
Fixed biome shading

I gotta say, I love this. I liked the screen shots, but after playing with it, I mean, this is INCREDIBLE! great job.
Oh and sorry I haven't been on the server that much, I should be on this weekend.
I am putting this pack on hold for a bit (don't worry I am not quitting). I have a lot of projects that I need to get started and stabilized so I need to ficus on them for now. Hopefully I will get back to working on this in two weeks or so (just in time for the big update :tongue.gif: )
For those that are wondering here is a brief list of my projects
1)In order to give my self some variety and to avoid burning out I am participating in steelfeathers' 6 hour challange
2) My brother, a few friends, and I are starting a youtube channel devoted to my animations and to game reviews and playthoughs.
3) I have joined forces with some other people (including some well known people on this very forum) to develop a game (or two, or three). I am hoping that this will turn into a more permanent thing because we have some very ambitious projects in mind.
4) My examiner work is starting to take off a bit an I need to promote the hell out of that (seeing as it is the only real source of income for me besides unemployment.)
5) I am also working on ANOTHER texture pack that I hope to release in a month or so.
6) And most importantly I have a family :biggrin.gif:

While you're at it get someone with a UE3 license to port it to Linux.
Seriously.
(since licensed UE3 gives you access to the source)
LOL! He just needs to clean up the edges so it tiles right, it's just a colour discrepancy :tongue.gif:
He won't need to rework the whole thing.

I'm making a texture pack: (16x) Silent Night

Retired StaffAnd I'm totally going to steal the design of your redstone ore, by the way. Just letting you know. :smile.gif:
I'm flattered :biggrin.gif:

as for the server, I have been having some issues lately and the server has been down most of the last two days anyway.
To get the Colored water effect, you need this mod: BiomeWater
Unfortunately this is not compatible with the MCPatcher, so you will need to use OptiFine to enable the HD Textures.
There is a link in the OP for those who want it.
