Hello, I have been working really hard on a 32 by 32 texture pack for a long time and it really is turning out quite nice, but I would not like to mess it up by making ugly water. So, my question is are there any uncopyrighted 32 by 32 water flow textures?

You can use the John Smith water if you give credit.

I suppose you could look for royalty free or public domain stock images of water and edit them to your liking.

Right now I'm working on my own custom texture pack, and i wouldn't necessarily mind if you used my custom water texture as a placeholder until you can make your own.

I actually don't think I'm going to make it I made one that I sort of like but thanks anyway

You dont really need it to be uncopyrighted just ask the makers of the texture pack you want to copy if you can use their water texture

and give credit AFTER you ask

Gestankenfaust put out a bunch of free to use 32x water and lava animated textures. Unfortuanatly I can't find them now. Maybe someone else can?

He only did custom lava/portal animations (found here).

Also, there's a tutorial for this (actually, two tutorials): (1) and (2).

(2) is really nifty if you're familiar with Gimp.
