I totally suggest doing all .png's other than the terrain.png and the items.png in the 64x64 sizes then. Gives room for more detail without looking out of place. That all depends on the type of pack too though. If it's a simple/clean pack, you can just use 32x32 versions. (keep in mind which images cannot be of differing sizes than the terrain.png...like the kz.png, among others)
When re-sizing, just remember that the pack may be 32x32, but that doesn't mean that all files/images are in multiples of 32. Check the original sizes first, then double, triple, and so on, the sizes of the image while constraining the proportions. (those two words just hurt my brain pan)
All new version 1.7 templates released and now re-sized and added to the OP.
*Notice the new shears on the items sheet!!
The new artwork has better shading, thus it re-sizes a bit different. Seems to have a "blurred" a bit. Not really blurring though, just enlarged the shading. Might look a bit odd in the larger sized templates. Will/can work on them if you guys want.

Well thanks but do you know where that thread was where it has a premade 16x16 pack? I forgot where it can be found. Can you link me to it? It would really speed up this texture pack I'm working on.

There's thousands. You also have all the files necessary right there in your minecraft.jar, lazy bum. :tongue.gif:

I dunno why people even need this thread -- it's literally one minute to extract the relevant files from the jar (rename to .zip, copy out w/e, rename back to .jar)... :smile.gif:

What use is an ear that does not hear, or a mouth that does not speak?
No, you just copy and paste the necessary files and folders, like terrain.png, particles.png, "item", "armor", "mob", "misc", "terrain", "title", so on and so forth. A little exploration in your .jar will reveal to you what you need.

The files are up to 256x. Up to 5 version each for the terrain and items. That's not a few seconds for those who don't already know where they are or what to do to resize them
:wink.gif:
On that note, I actually have them updated to the pre-release 1.9 version.
Enjoy!

Way I figure it, can't have too many of these. If you keep yours updated, and so do I, we can add each others links in our own threads to double up the updates
This may seem stupid, but is there copyright over the texture pack? ( Im not gonna say its mine, im making one but dont wish to change everything, such as the art )?

So I just copy-paste my entire Minecraft.jar?
