I have no problem with waiting five seconds. I do, however, have a problem with being forced to give money for something I don't even know is worth it.

Also, I would request that you don't accuse me of acting like a kid when your grammar would place you as, what, an eight year old?

If you would care to actually reply to what I say, we wouldn't even be having this discussion. Your childish actions and refusal to fully reply to posts means I have to keep doing this.

Also, I report when I think rulebreaking has taken place. There is no specific rule in place about the use of adf.ly in this situation, so this is a completely personal matter.

Personally, I do not think that this work deserves money. First, because Kris Eike and his actions have really gotten on my nerves, second because I find the whole situation shady (he's overused adf.ly for a long time, and I want nothing to do with that), and third because if I want to give someone money, I will. If I don't, it's courteous to provide a non-adf.ly link.

You're not giving money. Giving implies a transaction from your possession to someone elses. You lose no money from waiting the 5 seconds for adf.ly, and he has every right to post a link to earn some money from the work he's put into it. If anything, it's discourteous to complain about that. If I make something, I have a right to do what I will with it (within reason). Putting it up for download, for free, no less, is one option, and using adf.ly is simply a way of receiving small payment for hours put into work so that you can enjoy it.

First, I'm not tolerating being accused of "whining". Where, exactly, did I whine?

To say "I do not want him to profit from my download" would have been much more clunky in that situation, so I used a more general term. Regardless of the wording, I do not want someone to profit from me trying to see if their work is even worth it, especially when a large portion of the textures are still default. Now he's earning money from what's partially Mojang's work! I don't like it, and excuse me if I'm wrong, but is this not a public forum, where we're allowed to voice our opinions? Well, this is my opinion.

I posted on this on the first thread and it still looks very nice. And just a reminder to everyone, if you post a hate message, you are just bumping the thread :tongue.gif:
