Think maybe you could release a beta version just so we can use something, also having a percentage update on how soon you will be done would be nice.
You can download the terrain.png and the items.png in the first post. To test the terrain.png simply put it in a zip folder and use it like any other texture pack. If you want to test the items.png you would have to combine it with the items.png from another pack (or from the original) so that the items I haven't designed textures for will still show up.

This pack is great at first glance and it makes me really want to test it. Unfortunately, I can not download it because there is no download possible!

Even if its not finished, could you put a download link up (for the 256x)? Its alright if some of the default textures are blank. BTW I'm watching this topic ^.^
So glad I finally found this, I believe I used to use Unrealistic HD back in the early Beta 1.x days, but could never remember the name! Will be watching this thread.
Couldnt someone take the posted terrain.png and items.png and continue it? He seems to have died D:
I'll do it! I'll take the posted terrain.png and items.png and continue it!
I hope it will be done by Christmas. I've been terribly busy these days with final exams, the GRE, and certain other projects involving simulating traffic models... I do expect to be more free after Dec 16 though.
Added some 1.0.0 things like cauldron, enchantment table, enderstuff, mycel, etc.
Here are the new blocks added:
Other fixes include: Powered rails no longer have an arrow since they work both ways; Subtle changes to the appearance in between planks in Wooden Planks texture and Crafting Table texture; changed cement colour in Bricks texture; Very minor tweaks to furnace and chests.
Please refer to the first post to see the latest version of terrain.png.
I'm also working on the items.png, but I'm not ready to release it yet.
It is currently in progress. I will update it sometime in the future!

Yes that's quite alright. It would be nice to also give me credit and link to either this thread or my website (www.dllu.net) somehow.

Will probably download the 256 after giving the 512 a shot.
!!
Cant wait for it....
Untrue! I think the last time he logged in was 1 minute ago...
