This is a texture pack made with vector graphics. This means that the resolution is effectively infinite since you can zoom in forever without seeing jagged pixels (although it has to be converted to a raster -- i.e. regular pixel image -- before it can be used in Minecraft).
Because of the scalability of vector graphics, I am pleased to offer this pack in resolutions of 16x, 32x, 64x, 128x, 256x, and even 512x! (Adobe Illustrator refuses to export the 1024x version, since that would result in a PNG file of dimensions 16384x16384)
Use the HD Patcher or Optifine. Download one of the five versions of this pack and put it in the Texture Pack folder. Select texture pack from Minecraft texture pack menu.
NOTE: Large texture packs may crash computers. If your computer runs too slowly, choose a lower resolution.
This looks awesome!! I love the 512x and 1024x because it would require such a good computer that it is almost unthinkable, though I look forward to seeing if they will work on mine. Great work, keep it coming!
This is just what i was looking for !
Quick tip, fix up the stone (first icon), it doesn't quite match the rest of the icons.
But great! I would use it.
I have added TNT, chest, pumpkin, doors, torch, redstone torch, repeater, snow, ice, two more logs, and water! The updated version is in the first post.
Anyway I realized that Adobe Illustrator cannot export to 1024x (since that results in a terrain.png that is 16384x16384 and apparently there is a limit in Illustrator that prevents exporting of over 10000x10000). So I shall limit my texture pack to 512x at most. But seriously, you don't need any higher resolution... for example, here is a diamond ore and a pumpkin in 512x512:
I am sure that under no circumstances will you need to examine a block in Minecraft even more up close than that. So I removed the 1024x.
As for video card requirements, I honestly have no idea... My main computer is a puny little laptop that struggles (10 fps) even with 128x textures.
Considering you have the hardware requirements for running a 512x pack, how will you use it? The standard MC HD texture patcher only supports up to 256x textures.

Actually, I hadn't thought about that. Maybe you can't use the 512x pack :/ Or just wait until a new MC HD texture patcher is released.
Oh my god... ive never seen a 512x texture pack... my pc can olny run "SOME" 256x texture packs... i cant imagine what type of computer could run a 512x.... oh and great work its a really nice texture pack :smile.gif:, oh and if no one has said it, (i dont read the comments lol) doesnt the latest hd texture pack patcher only run(support) up to 256x Texture packs?
I've noticed a problem with your pack. The transparent textures have Anti Aliasing on the edges, which Minecraft doesn't support on most textures (only ice, water and the portal). This means they will look messy if you look too closely. I suggest you personally remove the AA so that it looks clean, and then Minecraft won't have to do it automatically.
The new HD patcher DOES support x512 packs. In fact, it supports any resolution as long as the terrain is completely square. You can run 7x7, 23x23, or even 1024x1024.
Congrats on your comeback. I hope to see this finished this time. XD

Future plans
There are still many items such as chests, etc. that are not done yet. Also, I will work on GUI, mobs, and font.
But the grass and dirt are my favorite. So cute. :happy.gif:

Yes, no problem.
