The "bugs" are just missing GUI textures. All the blocks and items (except ender pearl which was not present in the items.png released by Jeb) are done. That's why this texture pack is compatible with MC1.8 so many days before even the pre-release...
However, I've done most of them today (the chest texture was a bit hard to do because of a mis-alignment with the lid and the bottom of it) and I'll release all the resolutions monday evening. I hope I've also fixed the bug with the spider eyes. I'm currently testing it (I've finally got some time to work on those things). :wink.gif:
So, don't worry, I WILL release the next version with all necessary textures! :biggrin.gif:
Thank you...i have a new let's play started and the bugs really looked bad....GODDAMN YOU JEB!!

Love the new textures for 1.8! Keep up the good work!
Quick question: Do you have any plans to texture the chainmail armor set? I know of some SMP servers that use it (Herocraft with their "Heroes" Bukkit plugin, for one) as it has an adjusted armor value (between leather and iron). I just see it is the only thing you haven't textured so I would be interested in seeing it "complete the look". Thanks!

I will after the next version of the TP for MC1.8. :wink.gif:
I love this texture pack. Makes everything look very pretty.
Also, I'd like to ask, what does it take to use x64 texture packs, and have Minecraft run smoothly?
I'm using the x32 right now, because any x64 pack lags my Minecraft pretty bad.

I absolutely love this texture pack but can't use it. The main problem I have with this is that a lot of item textures have semitransparent pixels on them, which means I'll get horrible randomly coloured outlines on everything unless I change my fog distance to normal or higher. I know this pack isn't exactly made for people with lower end computers like mine, but even when I do set my render distance to far, all it does is force all the semitransparent pixels to be completely opaque. It kind of makes the wheat and grass look like ass because it loses all the finite details that shape out the texture.
Do you think you could make a version optimised without transparency? If not, does anyone know any workarounds to this? It's very offputting.
Wheat, render distance Normal
Wheat, render distance Tiny
This affects doors, grass, mushrooms, windows, fences, vines, sheep, and a few other things. I do have MCPatcher on, by the by.
Wow. This is an amazing pack, and I have looked at many. Not to simple, but gets that not-over-complicated feel to t=it. Very nice. Congratz on my download!
love love love this texture pack! It is definitely my new favorite. I thought I would post a screen shot(or 2) - one is just of a pig trapped in the water fall and the other is vines on the site of my simple cobblestone home and another just general screen capture. I hope you don't mind if I post these :smile.gif:

What do you think: Should I keep the meat as icons for the hungry bar or make this bar like the life bar but in another color?

I personally like the meat as hunger indicators.
