What makes this pack so incredible, outside of how truly brilliant it is, is how dedicated you are to your fans. you've managed to do 1.8 faster than the people who make the game! you're awesome, this is awesome. awesome.

I agree with you 100%, but also, I love your avatar. XD
I really like the new textures. Gravel makes a lot more sense (lol), smooth stone looks much better (was a little harsh), and pumpkins actually look like pumpkins. Yay! Really those were the only complaints (and small ones at that) I had about the pack.
Also, I agree, the cobble is beautiful.
Keep up the good work! I'll try to donate something when I can!
Oh my goodness, that last screenshot took my breath away. :biggrin.gif: Now I want to make a desert castle, although mine would look somewhat different, as I'm using Connected Textures... and I only started using it since your pack supports it natively. :wink.gif:
This may have been posted somewhere, but its location is eluding me.
Can anyone describe and/or outline detailed instructions on enabling GLSL shaders (whats the deal with the additional terain.png's?) and other shader pack? Engehenk's vid looks amazing but I cannot figure out how to install it. THank you! This pack ROCKS!
You can now download the new version of PureBDcraft texture pack for Minecraft 1.8!

Fair enough, he provides those. The question I had is where do they all go?
Those pngs go in the same directory as the regular terrain.png - it should work as long as you have the mod installed properly. I forget which version of the GLSL pack I have, but all I did was add the shader mod zip file through the MCPatcher program and there's no conflicts.
Sphax it's as if you are mocking every single texture artist, every single time you
put out an update. Superb work my friend.
There wasn't a doubt in my mind that this texture pack would blow up like it has. I think I was the third person to comment on this thread, on the awe I was in when I saw your textures. Anyone who puts out consistent updates of the caliber, in which you do, deserves the 50 users viewing your topic at once and the 10's of 1000's of downloads for which you have earned.
Have you reached the big 100,000 number yet? You deserve it.
Minecraft was meant for packs like this. Not only does it keep that survival,
homey, cartoony feel of Minecraft, but it perfects it with flying vectory colors.
By all means, if you ever feel like making another texture pack, do it, don't think,
just do it. It's an honor to have such superb artists, like yourself in this community.

Pure amazement is what this pack is. Amazing.
You don't know how I love to read some such words like those... Thank you a lot!
About the downloads, I've reached 200K some days ago... \o/ :biggrin.gif:

No surprise from me. You deserve it for the days-weeks you must have spent providing
for the users with whom game with this pack.
200K!
EDIT: Oh and thank you for the compliment of my comment!
Thank you! You are all awesome too! :smile.gif:

I'll try to get some time to update the presentation picture of the pack and I'll release the pack then... :wink.gif:

Ooh, I hadn't seen that yet! I'm sure if Sphax hasn't already seen it, he'll accommodate it soon. :wink.gif:

This really is my favorite pack currently, it's like a perfect mix of the Animal Crafting and Frenden's Cartoon packs.
Here it is!
