Looks great. I have the aether mod but i am going to get clay soldiers and a couple of the other mods because of this texture pack. Finaly a texture pack that changes more than the vannila minecraft. THIS TEXTURE PACK GETS x 10
But i like to use the altenative texture for pumpkins. I just see it in the terrain.png and like it, but i've no idea how i can use it in game :unsure.gif:
Plz help me..
You'll need a program like GIMP or Photoshop to move the alternate texture into the standard texture's slot.
It's probably just me being stupid, but I get a greyed out picture in the texture pack menu. No mods on, the game is patched and all my other HD textures work. Any ideas?
Love the texture pack, man! I just made a test video with FRAPS and After Effects to see how it'd turn out, I love it. I hope you keep it updated with future patches because I'll definitely be using this one a lot.
Just wanted to say thanks for an awesome pack. I found four gripes that I was able to deal with on my own but you might want to consider for future updates to the pack.
Gravel: The pattern was a bit "large". I simply shrunk it down, tiled it 4 times in the same space that it was in and it looked 10x better.
Glowstone: Seemed a bit busy to me, I washed it out a bit and added a "glass" glossy layer on top of it to make it feel more like a fragile glass block (who knows how it actually is... just how I imagine it).
Lava: Seemed really orange/yellow and too close in appearance to glowstone. I made it "redder" I guess would be the word for it.
Last but not least.. Window Text: It was really hard to open your windows and read the words "Crafting" or "Large Chest" because of the noise/pattern behind the text and the color of the text. I took a piece of the wooden sign texture and overlaid it on each of the windows (crafting, inventory, chests, furnace, etc) in the place where text would show. It took some trial and error to get it to be in the exact spot but I eventually figured it out.
Other than that, this is hands down my favorite texture pack so far. I've already got 3 of my friends hooked on it as well so you've got quite the following.
And I know it's a long shot but... any possibility we can get the vector source files with each release? Pretty pretty please?!? :biggrin.gif:

I tried your gravel trick, and you're right. It makes a huge difference. I would love to see Sphax take the scale of the grains into consideration and offer up an official revision.
yay.... thanx for updateing again sphax.... downloading 512x version now wooohooo!!!. and yeah the aether extended mod adds some cool stuff to the aether including a fire moa and some more aether themed weapons etc its really a good accompaniment to the aether

i applied the 512x version with the aether again and get only 1fps, without aether i get 100fps with the 512x pack. even when givin java 4gb. is there a reason for this? how did you run it in 512x with aether? i'm downloading the 256x version to try that. i dont get this problem at all when using 128x version. please help with any ideas.
edit : i get same problem with 256x pack. like i said i can run the 512x version at 100fps without aether, add aether and it goes to 1fps.
Could you include a variant of the zombie with the brain exposed that's only showing part of the brain? Or even just an exposed skull. Kind of like how the pigzombie has only part of the skull exposed.
Edit: I did a quick edit of the files to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.
Ok I have downloaded the 512x textures, but when I try and open it says out of memory. I have done what you said and made the .bat file, but now when i open minecraft it says not responding. Please help I really want to use this texture pack it looks awesome.
I'm using Optifine, and if I turn the portal animation off, I can see the BDcraft portal, not animated. But if I turn the animation on, I have the default portal. Is this an issue with Optifine, or can I use the custom animated portal, somehow?
Also, the day/night indicator on the watch pokes up outside of the gold part. Can this be fixed in a later release, please?
YOU ARE AMAZING! thanks!

edit: any chance when your finished tp and aether if you could do aether extended/artefacts: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/556400-173-aether-102-aether-extended-artefacts-and-102-fixes-updated-0823/
Ho my gosh... :sleep.gif:'
I didn't know there is already a mod which extends Aether... Don't know if I will support it soon...

Wow, I didn't either. The Aether really is its own entity, with people making mods specifically for it.. XD
