I've tried both the 256x and 512x TPs and they both have the same exact crash. I've also tried with both MCPatcher and OptiFine. Maybe i'm just doing something wrong or my computer can't handel it, although i just built this and i would doubt if it's the PC's fault. If you could reply back to this, that would be awesome. thanks for making this amazing texture pack!
Alright I used MCPatcher to install the HDtextures and all that. Then I selected the texture pack and minecraft crashes after 30 seconds of freezing. Here's the error report:

--- END ERROR REPORT 4cc3ff13 ----------
And here's the settings I used for MCPatcher, if you're wondering.
Those of you having error reports, you probably don't have enough RAM allocated for Minecraft to use and your computer can't handle running a texture pack that high quality. There should be a tutorial in the beginning of the thread that explains how to fix this.
Because it's such a high resolution texture pack, Minecraft will freeze for a bit, but it should fix itself momentarily. No idea why it would still be freezing once you've removed the texture pack though.
Hoho... A problem occurred... It seems that you are behind a Proxy/VPN or you are using an unknown/anonymous browser... or maybe you tried to access a file without authorization... Please, to download something from BDcraft.net, you must use a normal browser. If you continue to get this error message, try another browser and disable adblocks like plugins. For your information, we just check your IP adress and your referrer for security reasons. We don't collect any personal data and don't sell or redistribute them to third parties. Click HERE to get back to the home page and try again. Please, try again...
dafuq? I'm running chrome with adblock off. I do not have a VPN or proxy running.
Happens when I try and download the 512 and 256 versions... now gonna try 128
I'm having the same issue as Schtauffen when trying to download the texture packs. I've even tried all the browsers I have on my laptop and keep getting the same error.
Okay when I patch with Mcpatcher and load Minecraft and select the texture pack in-game, it works, but when I restart it gets stuck at the Mojang splash screen and then cuts to black. I kept Minecraft open for about 20 minutes and nothing happened, so I presumed it crashed entirely. Why is this happening?
I used to use this texture pack at x256 before and I had no problems, up until now, I don't know why. I also allocated more RAM to Minecraft and it worked, but it took a damn long time to load everything and it wasn't practical.
Sphax84, I was wondering if I could get your permission to use Sphax PureBDCraft in a combination texture pack i've put together. This texture pack combines what I think are the best textures from multiple packs (currently 7) all in one along with some minor editing and modifications to make them blend together. I will always give you credit and will never claim the textures as my own. I would also like to share this texture pack with my friends and other players, I will not make any revenue from the downloads. Sphax PureBDCraft really is a great texture pack and I would love if I could get your permission to use it. I have read your terms of use, but I thought that I would ask anyways.
when i try to use 128 or high it switches to default and then i looked in the textures and there was Neptune armor and other stuff and i was like wtf
please help
Hey guys. I've been having a lot of problems with some of the texture packs in 1.5.1, including Sphax.
I've patched a fresh version of MCPatcher, thinking there was a problem with Optifine (i had that installed before), but nothing happened, everything looks the same.
everything looks normal at the starting screen, but then as soon as i start the game this happens:
please someone help, i'm so sick of using the default texture pack
This kind of problems is generally due to not enough memory allocated to Java. Knowing you are on MacOS, I don't know how to allocate more memory to Java though... Also, be sure to install Optifine which solve a lot of performance problems (bugs) of Minecraft 1.5.x
Still happening in MC 1.5.1, and obviously using the latest version of this texturepack for MC 1.5.x.
No mods, 100% vanilla except for MCPatcher 3.0.3, and LWJGL 2.8.5.
I know this issue and it seems that I can't do anything to fix this... It seems to be a Minecraft SMP bug. If someone know a work around I can put into PureBDcraft, let me know by PM please.
i can't download this because of your weird website thingy, im not using a proxy but your site doesn't let me download it, WOULD PLEASE JUST PM A DIRECT LINK A BIIIIIIIG PLEEEEEEEAASE

I apologize if this bug has already been mentioned, but I've noticed this with all of the tools for the player. Zombies seem to hold them correctly yet the player does not.

Me neither. It says I'm either on a proxy or vpn, or using an 'unknown' browser. Doesn't matter if I use IE or Chrome, and I'm not on a proxy.
