I'm using google chrome and I get the same problem as the guy above How can I fix this?
I just downloaded the 64x and 128x version using Firefox with all my plugins active and it worked. The only thing I did different was try the download on my laptop instead of my desktop. There's no reason I can think of that it should make a difference, and you may not have another computer you can use, but that's what I did and I now have the texture pack...
One issue: Cauldron texture may be bugged. I'm using optifine (1.5 A3 version) and the sides of the cauldron block look like the compass. The version of the texture pack I'm using is x128 which I downloaded yesterday evening.
Also, how do I get the cactus and flowers to render the way you explain in flower pots as stated in the change log?
You need MCPatcher for this or wait for Optifine to support CTM.
Hi, I just updated to 1.5 from v.1.47 and had the 256x texture pack installed and it ran perfectly. Now, it won't run at all -- well, it runs, but it's exceptionally laggy. What's causing this? Dropping down to 128x results in a texture hit and frame rate drops... frustrated. Seems with the texture format change in 1.5 they may have created a memory leak. Can someone please help me?
Yes. I'm hitting Out of Memory errors on the 128x texture pack with MCPatcher. Looks like the error hits during Mipmap processing (I think). Increasing the heap (only an option on 64-bit) to 2048MB actually helps to clear it but before 1024MB was enough. It looks like MCPatcher is at fault here though.

I pulled MCPatcher and it was all good at 1024MB again.
EDIT: Appears that the issue may be between McPatcher and Forge...
Apply Forge to .jar using patcher before actual patching works but you get the above unless you increase heap. (hence the FML reference above)
Apply Forge after the fact just doesn't work...
Optifine isn't compatible with Forge...

I have launched it both with and without MCPatcher, but I still get the memory leak.
To deactivate an animation of a block like the netherrack, go to the ZIP file of PureBDcraft, open "textures/blocks/" folder and then search for "hellrock.png" and "hellrock.txt". Delete those 2 files. Then, rename "hellrock_static.png" in "hellrock.png". Done.
Can someone help me? I've used this texture pack for a long time now, and this is the only thing I found wrong. I use Optifine Ultra, and when I turn on connected textures, nothing happens. Here's a screenshot:
I keep having to force update minecraft when I use sphax because the textures are just white and green blocks. and when sphax is my tp its way to laggy to play anyway, I cant enjoy the new tp if I cant even play.
I downloaded the Sphax 1.5 512x version, and my Minecraft crashes repeatedly now. When I open it and log into my account, the Mojang logo pops up, bu then the screen goes black and I have to close it.

I was having this problem also except I used 128x128. I force updated minecraft and that fixed the issue but I cant even play now because the lag is so bad. I have had to force update a couple times now though, maybe try the 64 or 32 res but I dont think it will help. I never had this issue before 1.5 so I might need a new TP. What could have caused this to happen ? I was thinking I might have clicked save and open the file, would tha be the reason ?
I am getting 1-2 FPS with Sphax (used to have 60-80 prior 1.5), do I still need to use MCPatcher?
Tried with MCPatcher with default options, it worked fine when I switched to Sphax BDCraft 256x and played a bit. Now, when I quit and start the game, I get black screen instead of main menu.
That's my sky with Sphax 128 on a fresh MC1.4.7 installation, with optifine HD D5
Do you know this problem ? if it's come with Optifine or the texture pack ?
I can set Clouds to fast, but it's ugly :/
the problem is optifine it been doing that since 1.4.7 if you switch to fancy the clouds flicker for some reason he might fix it in the future but who know's
It doesn't work with optifine..... If it is used with optifine, the moon is a white block with weird text in it. Without optifine My game is SUPER laggy

Minecraft 1.12.2 / Forge 14.23.4.2705

It's due to mipmapping depending on the fog distance option.
