Come on... Not MCpatcher. Can't we just use optifine? I've been dying to use sphax ever since my friend showed me it.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
To all of you people who think Notch is still working on the game, he stopped working on Minecraft in late 2011. Get your facts straight and stop spamming his twitter about Minecraft updates.
I wanted to ask something, just to make sure I am not going insane XD Did the textures became darker over time? I am sure I remember, at least stone, being more bright back in 1.2.5. Or its maybe something else that makes everything look darker?
My favourite texture pack. The best one I have seen.
I have to agree. I play the 256x version with MC Patcher and it looks fantastic. It transforms the game into something that feels so modern and looks so high-quality that it makes Minecraft much, much more enjoyable for me to play.
I may have found a bug in the pack. I'm not sure, but wanted to ask.
When I am facing a hole in the ground and place a trap door, the lift ring is facing to the SIDE, not front to back. But when I click down to open the trap door, the ring on the flapped down door is facing the proper direction.
Shouldn't the trap door ring always be facing front to back when you place a trap door?
Maybe this has been asked before but i'm new and there's a lot of posts in here.
I'm using optifine, not mcpatcher, any idea why when trying to load 256x or 512x of this it just loads minecraft's default textures (my understanding was that optifine does the same HD support) I've already gone and tested by deleting all my old options files in .minecraft folder and used a fresh minecraft.jar with only optifine in it, and settings on 'fancy'
sigh, nevermind.. just noticed that both hi-res packs were incomplete downloads (crap internet)
Good Day! I'd love to offer this texture pack to users on my server with Bukkit's new TexturePack API that allows me to use a plugin that has a bunch of texture pack zip files in a list. This plugin allows my players to type "/texture get <name>" and their client switches automatically to that texture pack!
Its pretty awesome, and players love your texture pack, but I cannot offer it without direct links to a zip file. I don't mind updating the config manually each time you release a newer version of your texture pack, but I can't find a direct link anywhere.
Do you have such links I can utilize? If not, can I redistribute your texture pack on my website (no page for it, just a download link)?

Probably not. Did you get that plugin successfully working? For some reason, it sounds like it would have to somehow hack into clients.
Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?

Curse PremiumThere's nothing stopping you from using optifine.
MCPatcher works fantastic, but you can use Sphax with Optifine too if you want.
(It also lags the game to hell, though I suspect the issue is with optifine)

If so, I would appreciate some help fixing that.
Thank you.
Quoting myself due to i figured out the issue. Was mcpatcher causing it. Updated to lastest version and everything looks fine now.
