yes but i want to run it in 512x512 not 32x and what does vector based actually mean ?
IF you havn't already, try installing either the MCpatcher or Optifine.
Vector graphics are a different way of drawing and storing images. Rather than saving in pixels, like .pngs and .jpegs Illustrator (and a few other programs) save in a different format that enables what is called lossless resizing. Basically vector graphics enable sphax to draw an image at one resolution, I assume 128x, and resize it to all the others supported by his pack without loosing much of the quality of the textures. Typically, when you downsize an image it becomes pixelated. If you upsize an image it becomes blurred (unless you do some fiddling). With vectors this does not happen. However, since he has to change them to .png files there will still be some loss of detail. But not as much.

The process wh consists in saving bitmaps from vectorial picture is rasterization :wink.gif:

Sphax84, I downloaded this texture pack expecting to see a few nice textures and perhaps a few graphical problems as this is a 512x512 texture pack. However what I found was a fantastic menu, near-perfect textures, creative health, hot bar, and inventory design, and even a custom font and cursor! The only slight problem I found was the water not lining up completely!
This is without a doubt the most polished 512x texture pack I have ever laid my eyes on. Fantastic work, you blew me away and I hope this continues to be updated.

I know for the problems with the animated water... However it take me too much time to do that, so, I prefer to finish the TP first. Then I'll update it to correct this tiny bugs. :wink.gif:
Sphax84, I have some idea for you next update, i think you can change the shopping list which is in the furnace gui into something useful such as different fuel can burn how long or something else. Also you can rearrange the redstone on the repeater into a ascend range, smallest redstone represent delay 1 tick and biggest redstone represent the longest delay.
That means you've not patched your game with MCPatcher... :sleep.gif:'

Yeah, but I thought that I had used enough technical terms already :biggrin.gif:
Do you use Illustrator?
After your game patched, you can run up to 256x version. To run 512x version, you must allocate 2Go to java.

take a look at this thread. If that doesn't work let me know and I will PM you a solution.
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/448505-allocating-more-memory-to-minecraft/page__p__6049774__hl__allocating more ram for minecraft__fromsearch__1#entry6049774
this one is better it works 100% so when press f3 it actually says 'availiable 4096mb'
just when you make teh .bat file choose the amount of ram also i put 4096.

How do you have the updated sheep?
I'm running v0.6.8 and my sheep still look the same as on the default texture pack... :unsure.gif:
I've been looking at the official gallery: http://sphax.imgur.com/minecraft__sphax_purebdcraft
I don't have it through... :sad.gif:
I hope the v0.7.0 will be released soon...
