That's a fairly big reason for it being used all the time.
I just don't like the idea of having to use this pack or the really ugly default. I would like a variety. @craftiyan

Don't know if it was his computer or just a glitch but the stone had little images of fire and portal blocks on it. Overall though, good texture pack.
That means you don't have high res textures enabled. You need to download Optifine in order to use anything higher than 16x, since Mojang won't do native support for higher resolutions.

Java is bulky, slow, hogs resources, passes out from exhaustion, and although it was big in the 90's is now typically only found on poorly designed websites. Much like Harry Knowles. So any time Minecraft crashes, blame Java.
...figured out that I had to reference glass blocks by their block id and not the terrain id in the terrain.png file (like the other blocks were done). Drop the attached file in the ctm folder in the texture pack....https://www.dropbox....ck20.properties

Replying specifically so that other folks who are searching for "Why are glass blocks in Sphax no longer connected" have more chance of finding your post. I only found it after doing my own research to "fix" it and worked out (as you did) that sphax_ctm.png was being referenced instead of ctm.png
Never mind on being unable to find a proper download link for MCPatcher. However, I downloaded it and now I am getting errors when I try to load the game with magiclauncher. Am I not going to be able to use magiclauncher in order to load the game up or what? Also, when I do get past the errors with magiclauncher, I get the same fire/portals graphical glitch that is mentioned in the faq, even though I have downloaded and installed MCPatcher and I have Patched my copy of MineCraft.
Could somebody please help ASAP?

May i suggest making a patch for the pixelmon mod, it is quite highly regarded and I think that you could make a very good patch for the pokeballs, potions etc.

Try disabling any adblockers. Failing that try another browser. Ad.Fly has been changing the way they do the load to combat ad blockers.
Love this Texturepack! My favourite of all time.
A couple things that have been been bugging me in the latest version 1.3.2
-Glass Blocks Not connecting (fixed with patch from another post but should be fixed so all users of the pack can have working connected textures, not just me)
-Bricks Connecting Textures - Looks weird. Looks better without it
-Emerald Icon looks lower quality
Other than that i will keep using this texture pack. I just hope the glass blocks thing can be rectified by next update

I made a CTM file for glass blocks since Optifine ignores ctm.png when Extended CTM is active. The file references the old ctm.png file (already in the pack) until the op relocates the glass textures to sphax_ctm.png later on. That's assuming there are plans to do so (I have no idea). MCPatcher won't have this issue because it references ctm.png in the absence of an Extended CTM definition file for the object.
The textures for cocoa bean plants and running water arent there (yet) and the texture for stone is screwed up. it has pictures of fire and nether portals in it. When will they be fixed/added? I really love this pack.

Use MCPatcher to add HD Textures support, or install the Optifine mod.
The latest update to Balkon's Weapon Mod added boomerangs, which are unusable because there is no texture for them with your texture pack. When will you add the texture for boomerangs?
