Thank you for this AWESOME texture pack bro...I used it before with i think 32x and it was alright but I never really used it...Now that I got my new pc, I tried out the 512x one and boy is it AMAZING! I love the design and effort you have put in this bro. It's just so nice to look at and everything! I don't think I could go back to 16x...512x Looks so much better! I play with about 100-200 fps on a flatmap and about 50-70 on a normal minecraft map. It is great! I hope you update this for the jungles here soon too because I would love to see what you create for there textures! I plan to use this pack for a very long time :wink.gif:

This is my favorite texture pack to use by far! Better than JohnSmith's :wink.gif:
Though his is good too.
I use this as a default for myself :biggrin.gif:
I get a fresh minecraft and I use MCpatcher, Without the "Better Grass" Ticked. After I patched it, I zipped the folder and put both the zip and folder in the texture pack folder ( I'm using a Mac ), it doesn't work. It appears in the Mods and Texture Pack screen but the picture of it is a gray version of the default one.
I don't use Mac, but what folder are you zipping and why? Just put what you downloaded in the texture pack folder and select it in minecraft.

The problem is the file you download is already a zip and is ready to be used in Minecraft, when you zip it it becomes unusable (to put it simply).
The .zip file you download goes STRAIGHT into the texture pack folder. Do not take the contents out of the .zip.
If your already doing that then I can't help you :\
Mightypork's powercraft has a patch for that mod and its not on the mod patches section (and its not updated). Could i ask you to put it on the page (and maybe update it). The link to the patch is on the powercraft thread.
Bump. Everyone has answered to my snapshot comment :tongue.gif:
I just realized that the patch was made by someone else! It could be good if YOU could update it (Sphax)
Bump for the last time. Sphax, please read or else this will be a waste of effort.
Sphax, I realise that you are a busy, busy man...
But could you be so kind and update your texture pack for the latest snapshot (12w04a)?
Your current work is brilliant, and I really like to see jungles and ocelots created with your epic textures.
I will release the update when I've done it according to the content of the snapshot. However, I doubt it will be before the official release of MC1.2. :wink.gif:
I'm having a bit of trouble getting the GLSL shaders mod to work with this glorious texture pack. Is there a particular place that the add-on textures need to be placed? This is my first attempt with GLSL, so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Thanks!

Assuming Ocelot breeding behavior doesn't change between 12w04a and 1.2, can I humbly request that Ocelots get Random Mob skins so Ocelets have a chance to keep their spots as Cats? Anyone could do this with the snapshot if they copy the ozelot.png texture as cat_black2.png, cat_red2.png, cat_siamese2.png in the mobs folder.

I just downloaded 64x and it appeared as a zip file, so I finally got it working. But for the 128x and bigger, I get a folder? Thanks anyways.
I have a strange issue....I get HUGE amounts of lag, ( 5 or less FPS) while using ANY size of this TP, as of 1.1
In 1.0 and below, I didn't have this issue.... :/
I used the 512x512 in 1.0, with Optifine, with about 90 FPS, so yeah....any help would be appreciated!
Try starting a new map or reinstalling minecraft fresh (I had the same problem a new map alleviated some of the problem but when I did a fresh install and reinstalled all my mods I had smooth runnings :biggrin.gif:)

At first it looks a little cartoony, but i think it makes the game look much better. i love it.
thanks again

EDIT : Forgot to mention, I'm using a MACBOOK PRO
Strange, oh well, glad you got it working :biggrin.gif:
Have fun with the amazing pack :biggrin.gif:
You don't need it. the 1.1 version works with all versions of Minecraft.
