Just thought I'd let you know, but I'm getting insanely slow speeds whilst downloading your texture packs, and accessing your site in general (~1KB/s on the downloads, slightly more on your main page). Is something amiss with your website?

I don't think my other post here went up, so, what should I type in the Runtime Parameters for a 512x512 texture pack if I have 8 gigabytes of ram?

read the faq. make a .bat file allocate 4096mb

I apologize if this has already been answered or if this is the wrong place to ask but...

I am having trouble downloading both your texture pack, which I LOVE by the way, great job; as well as the Aether mod. If i have the texture pack downloaded and added first, i end up being unable to have Aether added correctly. Yet when i use the Aether mod first the Patcher won't allow the texture pack to be installed without the annoying swirly bits in the corners.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or another way to get them both on the same Minecraft? and the Aether works when I download and install that first, but second it doesn't. Thanks for the help in advance!

The version of the Aether currently supported in PureBDcraft is outdated.
The Aether MOD has been updated in a way which break most of the textures of PureBDcraft for Aether.
I'm currently working on updating its support for the next release of PureBDcraft (or as a separated patch - for 128x and then all resolutions).

I use this method to allocate more RAM for Minecraft without having to install any third-party programs: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/350344-allocating-more-memory-to-java-windows/
(I only give it 2G of RAM and use the 256x TP 'cause I only have 4G of RAM and a crappy-ish graphics card :tongue.gif: )
I suppose that if you have 8GB of ram you could allocate more than just 2G/2048M, you could probably try 3, 4, or maybe even 5G...

EDIT: The license says I can't post it here as it's basically just the textures pasted onto a sprite sheet.

I'm not sure if you've noticed already, but the loading screen will have to be updated with Leonard Axxelson's Mojang avatar. He was hired recently.

All blocks done, most of the items done (new ones done like gauntlets, candy sword, parachute,...), locked chest, ...
