The aim of a texture pack IS to redone textures... Of course I was inspired by the awesome work made by Doku. However, Doku has gave the permission for anyone to get and alter his own work when he "retired" ( some time before the Doku continuation project - you should know)... Moreover, I didn't stole the work of anyone, just been inspired by some (and never inspired by the work of the Doku continuation project - knowing I never tested it). I never cheated about that, I don't want to and it's not a secret.

EDIT: I love the BDCraft Minecraft Icons! I use the Jack'o Lantern one on my Launcher.
Yeah, can we try to avoid bashing? We did make it clear that the Continuation Project has nothing against PureBDCraft, and Redstoner has apologised to both parties. It's all water under the bridge now.

sorry bout that, i'll curb my tongue next time.... i just love this pack so
i really like this pack. unfortunately theres one aspect of it that prevents me from actually using it. the textures for cobblestone, smooth stone and stone bricks are all too similar to each other. structures that are designed to make use of combinations of these blocks for asthetics are totally lost in this texture pack.
if those few blocks were more distinguishable from each other i would use this pack exclusively when i play minecraft.

The clay texture, right now clay is like an ore that is in sand.
It looks horrible when built with, its sad because my server's underground city has tons of clay.
I know changing it officially won't be likely, but can someone make an alternate version of it that I just drag into the terrian.png myself?

I agree. I just use faithful, or misa's clay now. Its pretty much the only real problem with this pack.
Can someone help me? im trying to play minecraft with this texture pack however i'd like to install the aether mod too and i am having alot of difficulties! and i am seeing that the videos step by step are outdated and i need to use the mcpatcher to run this texture pack i dnt know if that interfere AAAAAWWWWW can someone help me? T_T

I have Optifine installed(it has MCPatcher included) and the IndustrialCraft, Buildcraft, Redpower 2, Railcraft, Wireless Redstone, MineFactory Reloaded, and Nether Ores patches. I would really love to get back to this awesome pack.

If you're getting the "out of memory error" then you'll need a lower resolution version.
Even if you dont get that error, won't hurt to try it out.
My favorite texture pack by far its unique creative.. simply amazing, great job!
Also your probably not going to see this but as you can see I created my own custom sig for this pack but you probably won't use it any way lol :tongue.gif:

when i said "HD texture pack" i meant that most of HD texture packs are not special and most of'em are rip-offs! :sad.gif:

I agree too and Sphax could make a customizer so people can change it to be what they want........
