I say that there should be a Middle Earth texture pack, which would be very nice and could go well with so many things.
Say, giants=ents, creepers=goblins (about as likely to suicide either way) cows=nicer looking cows (or horses), so on.
Chickens could be either dwarves or hobbits (or, if you prefer evil chickens, then they could always be Smeagol/Gollum).
The pigs could be horses, the bread that elvish stuff, torches the crystally light thingy that frodo had that lights up.
Diamond could be mithril.

If you have any other suggestions about what should be in it, please comment and i will consider it. If it doesnt conflict with anything else, then i will post a second poll beside the petition itself to ask everybody if they like it.

If anybody is interested, then please make one! Or tell me how to, so i can.

Another thing, if anyone really likes the idea and wants to make the banner, then feel free to! I have no artistic skill whatsoever (except on halo, but that doesnt count. :biggrin.gif:), so if dsomebody else could make it, that would be great!

thing is with mobs, one cannot change what there MODEL is unless they know how to use something like blender. Only the skins can be changed.

Well, ya, but just change the skin to look like smeagol.

Not sure about cows into horses. I just imagine drinking horse milk and wince. They had cows in Middle Earth, pretty sure of it.

I think it'd be a great idea with lots of cool opportunities, though! Most of Middle Earth is very medievaley styled though, so it would seem that it'd be a generic medieval pack for the most part. Maybe the weapons and armor could be a little more recognizably JRRT.
