Question about texturing weapons.

How come they look like they have little hairs coming off of them? Is there something I'm missing?

Also some times they look like they are doubled on top of each other, is it even worth making weapons above 32x32?

The way weapons look make me not want to skin them at all =X It's so ugly.

Make sure you are using MCPatcher 2.1.0_01, not just 2.1.0. I believe the _01 fixes that?

(In regards to the little lines coming off it, no idea what's with the duplicate.)

Well the patcher fixed all of them, I don't know why I didn't think to update it again.
