I have started to run a server for a quite a while now... The only issue is getting more people, and myself more organized. I've also realized I REALLY suck with texture packs.
I want someone to custom create, or show me, one of their texture packs.
What do I need to make?
What I'm looking for - A nice 'Smooth' feel to it. I don't textures with huge solid colors - it should be blended and detailed to the point where its just behind overdone. Kemaro's MechCraft is a good example of "Smooth". I don't think you can find it anymore though. I don't want any high definition packs, as 16x16 seems enough for me, and my low performance computer (my server is seperate, dedicated). It's also somewhat difficult for some users to use the patcher.
What's in it for me?
A definite Mod rank if I enjoy it, and Mod+ if I really like it. Note this pack will also be posted as the official pack for my server. It will be posted on my site, and amongst many forums. I'l probably use it too.

I liked that pack as well, but it's too vibrant to the human eye, well mine at least. It's not simple enough... You start focusing on the textures more than the structure itself. I also find that the texture's colors/pixels aren't chosen right. Most of the textures are WAY too sharp. this, in fact, is definitely NOT what I'm looking for.
I do have Gmail, but I barely check it anymore. Even if I did give you an email address, it wouldn't be worth it.
I have Steam, though. ID = NorthenerSouth or NorthenerOfTheSouth if that doesn't work...

I LOVE the stone, and on second thought, the wood doesnt acually look that bad. I advise on keep it as it is.
Cobblestone looks a little too much like gravel, and its a decent texture, but its used too commonly as a building material to have that natural texture. The choice of you deep colours are great, and the grass and dirt are wonderfull. The ores are very nice, but the iron block should be a bit darker, and more iron like. The iron block could be confused with clay. Other than that, everything is wonderfull.
I'm looking forward to posting the download to this pack on my website, and making it the official texture pack. Good work! You're defiantly going to receive Mod+, or maybe even Admin!

The colors are more vivid, it looks almost real (Well, the Minecraft 16x16 definition of "real"), and it makes landscapes look amazing. (Not an HD)
Plus you can choose what textures you want from the site and it gives you the download file customized for you.
