I'm working on a texture pack that has a face on the sun and one on the moon.
The problem is, they both go upside down at one point or another. The moon seems to start it's cycle (at sunset) right-side-up.. and end upside-down at sunrise..
While the sun starts (at sunrise) upside-down, and ends (at sunset) right-side-up..
Anyone know if this can be fixed?
Thanks for your help! :smile.gif:
Here are pics of the sun/moon in case it helps.
None of the art is really mine, rather the sun and the moon are made up of more than once piece of art. I made so many changes to the moon that it barely resembles the original.
I guess it would help to mention these are 512x512 for an HD texture pack I'm working on.
Flipping it over will make it right-side-up at sunrise, but then it will still go down(sunset) upside-down..
I'm hoping there's a way to make neither of them ever be upside down..
I am not looking for a mod to fix this. If that's the absolutely only solution, then I'll be sad. I just figured, its a png file, from the texture pack.. surely someone else has run into this problem before and maybe come up with a workaround.

Here are the PNG's I'm using. They're both bright and colorful, but the sun seems to wash out in-game while the moon looks fine.
