well they live in metal blocks. and ****. oh ****, i need to dot eh walking sound from wall-e mayhaps for them. it's the sound of a racoon sped up a bit, so i heard. anyways. night.
Beautiful songs, and I haven't even heard the normal versions. You've got my vote on both of these, and I daresay we should swap out the audio on a few of the music discs for these tracks.
By the way, who's the girl in the background picture? Is that Lights? Because she's very beautiful.
Aside from Halph wanting to make it a cock, no one hasput forth any ideas for the Snow Golem, so I did some lame-storming and thought of making it a busted cleaning drone (like wall-e) that leaves trash and ash everywhere and even throws it at: The Fallen, Raiders, Huggatrons, Hall Monitors, Slimes etc.
Currenty I am working on making strongholds more like H.I.V.E.'s.

well there's going to be 13 of them, but don't worry I did the music for all the sound packs now. I thought I did well there, tried to make it based off of book of eli. I wanted the music discs, to be more the DAT tapes in fallout, dialogue and help expand the lore for the game. this is why I'm doing the lore and the audio, sort of goes hand in hand. I've been around since history too, so i know what was happening before. I had a bunch of audio scripts he made to be used in the game.
I think tapes are better to have then records, because that's more to the era of 1950's-1960's sort of thing. Which is an important thing to establish in Gothic Raygun style, then you show a futuristic view from that point of view, as opposed to just a bad sci-fi from our point of view.

How would a slime that looks like that fit in with the Last Days setting though? I honestly think not much needs to be changed theme wise, I mean if lava is supposed to be radioactive sludge couldn't slimes just be sentient piles of radioactive sludge? I mean they normally live near lava so it would make sense.
well that's sorta what they are now, but it's easy to make alts for slimes, change things up. i made this for a cyberpunk version of last days. did another one with laser bar cage... maybe just a few different styles of a slime cubes or flesh looking cubes might do. it's an easy skin that has a lot of possibilities. quite fun to do, specially with the added transparent layer.

Actually it's Croco that does a lot of the texturing I think, which confuses me because I've been watching this thread like a hawk and I've seen Croco's icon that says whether or not he's online light up a few times. It's confusing because you'd think he'd at least pop in and say "Hey guys! I'm not dead!"

Yeah, Croco kinda disappears for awhile but comes back often. If he didn't have time for the texture pack he would let us know. (or at least let Halph know).

he told me last days will be delayed, when i asked why he said
I'm sorry I haven't really been around much, I've been juggling a couple projects. If there is no way I have the time to work on this, I'll step down, but at the moment I think I can power through. We'll see.
on a side note, i got a few textures done for 1.0 but can't upload them to the customizer because the owner tried to give me the ability to edit the pack under croco's control but can't upload the stuff yet.
as it stands on the customizer we're 81% complete.
so I'm going to make the splash potions a sort of gas grenade thingy, more like a smoke bomb then a fragmentation grenade. like counter-strike's grenades, the bombs of alchemy. I guess. so one would be sort of a hypo the other a bomb, but similar shapes.
anyways looking into animated textures as well, and need to finish a few sounds and then there the lore wiki. got this week to put to it, have been working on music before. need to use minecraft test the texutres then use that to make the lore, so it starts with teh textures. i think i got everyones input on where to go for now, so it's just a matter of pushing through and getting a bunch of them done, and THEN test them, then it's done.

I suddenly got some skill at computer art, if you tell me what you want I can start to help out, right now I am working on making Strongholds metal so that they will be more like HIVES, but that can be put on hold if you want someone to work on blocks and the main stuff.
