Just a few more suggestions. Since the spiders are robots it would seem strange that they make spider webs, so instead you could make them barbed wire fences that the hall monitors spun out to maintain an area. Also i wanted to try the green lazor fence thing that was originally for the spider web and have it replace the iron bars.

That's true. I'll try playing around with some ideas. Another reason I like this idea is because I am terrible at making webs. :sad.gif:
I was just playing on my world making a Rosethorn Hall knock-off next to a village, and I was lighting my fireplace when noticed something very strange... the fire is invisible, it produces light, hurts me, produces smoke, but there is no fire. just wanted to bring that to the attention of you and others. :biggrin.gif:

That is a side effect of not using the patcher. Use the pathcer and it will fix that, along with all the other glitches. If using the patcher doesn't work, I'll have to look into it.
Buildcraft is 1.8 ready... better get on that again.
EDIT: Ok, I can't use it because ModloaderMP isn't ready... -.-
At least the new textures are released. So I know here at Last Days we are way into transforming one thing into another. So here is the question: You find oil deposits in the ocean. You can extract them and use them for power on the spot or you can convert them into a refined, more efficient fuel. So, should I treat them as ordinary oil, or go for something new? Liquid radiation with energy potential? I would love a suggestion from anyone at this point.
Edit's EDIT: Wait... it might work because MLMP is updated... I don't know about minecraft forge though...

Depending on the year in which you feel nuclear apocalypse happened (I generally assume later years when advanced tech is present; this really bothers me about the Fallout timeline), crude oil may or may not have been already used up in the world. It's certainly possible to have two textures thanks to the customizer. What's this about refined, more efficient oil, though? Has there been a Buildcraft update I've missed? :ohmy.gif:

Not really. Just a video in which you must battle Spacetoad's heavy accent as he show a preview of the next update.

I wish there was a minus button in the corner of posts...
Can you make a version that looks like Last Days but doesn't make any fundamental changes? For example my friends see cloths as colors, but I see them as radios/etc.
It would be nice if I could see the same stuff, but through the "Last Days filter". Understand what I mean?
In the customizer, you can change the wool textures to 'dyed skins' which is essentially colored blocks, like classic wool.
P.S.: Lost the textures I was working on. Had to reformat the comp >.>

I've never had difficulties with his accent. The new power system is gonna take some tweaking of all my systems to allow power through. I also have to wonder how power is stored and distributed in those new pipes. Maybe SpaceToad will be adding capacitors soon. :biggrin.gif:
Either way, more stuff that needs Last Days texturing!
To those that feel a need to "wonder" I have not died, my Internet has.. I get it back in 2 weeks, fml..
I haven't had time to play Minecraft or even check out the new textures that have been made..
However, I did scan the last few pages and I saw some awesome stuff, keep up the good work guys!
(1.8 just doesn't excite me at all.. I think I really have lost all interest in Minecraft now.. Oh well, the fun lasted almost a good year)
this is only HALF of 1.8, they're doing it in a two part system before final release, to work on the bugs easier
is a slime i came up with, looks like it in a broken cell of some sort, like an escaped test experiment.
was messing with the slimes sounds, and was making it sort of a higgh pitched oohs sounds, more mutated sounding... i'll have the sound pack up with new fuse sound for teh creepres tonight.
This doesn't happen on the other texture packs I have installed, and I tried installing another one to check and it didn't happen on that. I'd really like some help with this if anyone knows what's going on.

^ If first-aid kits healed wounds instantly, my thumb wouldn't still have a scab on it over a month after it was julienned, would it? All the same, the fact that we have to use food items when fully healthy means alternate food-related textures would fit better.
Okay, now I'm having trouble with the sound pack. <.>
I've unpacked the sound mod and the Last Days sound pack, I open up minecraft.jar, I delete the META-INF, copy in the class file, and replace the resources folder, but then when I load up Minecraft I get a black screen. I've tried forcing an update and redoing it several times, so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Maybe I have the wrong version of the sound mod?

Yeah, pretty much the same results. But now I can upload everything but the terrain.png and the item.png.... This is really bothering me.

You could try it on a different computer if you think it will help (probably not).
Try contacting the people that run it.
Your right, I tried that and it didn't seem to work. So yeah, I'll have to contact them. I love the customizer, but I have sooo much trouble with it.

First thing I noticed was this strange effect:

It happens on any stone brick blocks, pumpkins, and for some reason gold blocks, but without the portal effect.
Then there's this one:

Not as noticeable, but the portal is missing for some reason, even though the particles are there and I am still able to travel to the Nether.
Lastly is this one...:

Netherack is replaced with flowing water and fire completely disappears.

You didn't use the HD patcher.
