Can't wait until you get this updated. I used it briefly in 1.7.3 this last week before I updated to the pre1.8. It gives an amazing atmosphere, especially with the sounds. My first night I was pretty freaked out from the general feel of the pack and because I had found a ton of surface iron and coal I didn't want to lose. I had dug a hole to protect myself for the night. I liked the stone texture so much I made a Fallout style vault :tongue.gif:
As for the pumpkin vine problem, you could overlay the green with a bright red to give it a rusty, rotten metal look?
@NotBitstripsDoom, yes the zombie sounds and spider sounds are place holders, as the pre release didn't include a resources file.
Hey, welcome! The texture pack community is pretty awesome as I'm sure you will soon discover. Just start posting in some threads and you'll be a part of the community in no time. Anyways, back to business. What do you mean fix the furnace GUI? Whats wrong with it? And the sound pack will erase the old sounds, but you can easily get them back, simply by deleting one file.
Well the furnace background in game is super inflated and the spots in which you place coal, the raw material and get the resulting smelted item don't match to the the backgrounds squares. And thanks for the info on the sound packs :biggrin.gif: other than that small thing though the pack is AMAZING! and I hope that it only continues to grow!

Never mind, all I had to do was re-download it and everything is now running just fine XD.
It already sort of does that. When you charge the bow, it zooms in a little and the bow rises up a little. I'll work on the shotgun tomorrow so that you can enjoy it in 1.8. :wink.gif:

On a side note(reguarding your HD skeleton). Are you still going to add the mask on skeletons/raiders?

2) Being a watered down one that can operate on vanilla.
I just noticed that if you use bonemeal on a normal mushroom, it grows into a giant one! so your platform thing might not work. :C
You might just have to make them normal, mutated giant mushrooms. oh well. it'll still be cool.

I think I can find a loophole in the lore to keep the platforms though. :tongue.gif: The problem I have with mushrooms are that they look really out of place in the world, unless they are near lava or something like that. Then they just look like crazy mutations caused by radiation.

I could probably make an alt of that. I already tried doing that and it looks a little out of place just randomly sitting around, but it could look awesome next to some lava.

He just finished moving and still hasn't gotten his internet set up. That's why he hasn't been on lately. I'm sure he will come back once he gets that all figured out.

AdventureCraft is like making customs maps, but VERY scripted. Its a stand alone mod for those who really want a completely different minecraft experience. It has a huge RPG factor to it, its really like building your own minecraft/zelda collaboration. multiple mods added aswell. Also you create how the map generates and what areas are snow/desert/etc. But i am going to make that after i finish the vanilla version.
The map is coming along well. Lots of new ideas popping in, its just that school started and i have slowed down my progress quite a bit. I actually have to pay attention this year, I am now taking classes that can affect the college i plan to attend.

i don't know if I should say it here or on the website but in the customizer, for the health bar, option 1's health bar is over scaled and for the furnace interface, its double the size it should be. Hope this helps.

I'm still offline, I'm in a library, but I've been working on stuff @ home. I've got the blocks done as you've seen, and half the items, I'm almost done the rest of the items. It's all good, croco's been busy with 1.8, it's a lot.
speaking of which, you can make teh mushrooms mechanical thingiys that would replicate, and then teh hydro transformer thing, that replaced the bonemeal, would still make sense in that they transform into protection.
it goes along well with the mechanical tree thing... and then mushroom alt skins just for aesthetics, as the are really suppose to be machines...
best I can give you, this is why I've been waiting to finish the lore, it's going to change A LOT, I'll see what happens in the end, before people take it all as canon. Cocoons, scrap shacks, raiders, fallen, mutant rats, and deformed cows, all a apart of it still. the bone meal thing int eh raiders backpacks was suppose to be sort of the water of life, like the sand people in dune. sort of the way they survive, and why they only come out in the dark.
sadly they're dressed like hill billies, you'll note i tried to give them a sort of eastern look as well as gas masks. just so they're not as deranged as much as organized.... i mean they can hide their scent from hall monitors....

Well. Nice to hear from you again. Just want to put my opinion out there: I think the mushrooms should be, well, mushrooms. If Croco just wants to do platforms, I will happily make organic mushrooms for the customizer. I have been dieing for a chance to get my work in this pack. I also have an armor texture I will upload as soon as I get home. (Made it on a lazy summer afternoon for personal use a while ago.) My plan for now is to slowly crank out Aether mobs, but please ask me if one of you guys need something. When I get home I will upload my armor, then make the finishing touches to my Aerwhale/Cargo Drone and upload that too.
PS: Ever heard of the wasteland mod? Magical synergy with this pack...

Croco! I'm very sorry! I realize I've just given you some misinformation! earlier I said silverfish were harmless. I completely forgot I was in CREATIVE mode, and thus they could not hurt me! keep up the good work!
also, I really don't want to burst any bubbles, but there's still a very good chance those sounds aren't placeholders, or at least silverfish. I saw what the other guy said about the resources folder, but notch might just not plan to give silverfish their own sounds anyway. the simple fact is that in vanilla, the spider sounds work great for them, and he might keep that. I'm not saying there's no hope at all! I'm just saying it's a good idea to make a robo-thingy anyway, just in case!

I just came from the Dokucraft Saga forum and they are having the same issues with the Furnace gui. So it could just need to be updated.
