All right, since I finally got my passord situation fixed...or should I say, my forgetting my own password situation...I can log on and tell you how incredible this texture pack is. I've been a fan of Minecraft for a while now, and this is my favorite pack thus far; That isn't likely to change anytime soon. My own work has been primarily skinning, and I didn't have access to my computer, or Minecraft, for a while, or I'd feel like contributing. However, I am much better at writing, at least in my opinion, and I am contemplating writing some kind of...I dunno, thing, inspired by the happenings in my own game.
Lucky I could post today, as I downloaded the sound pack recently and have had no luck whatsoever getting it to work. I instlled the class file as instructed, have no META-INF anywhere, and have dutifully replaced the resorces folder, however, when logging in to Minecraft to play, the game shows no Mojang screen, and goes black and stays black.
Any help would be appreciated, and keep up the good work. Thank you.
OK, so I haven't read everything yet, as I have been sidetracked by a few things, but I will probably get a response up today or tomorrow. In the meantime I would like to just quickly post my plan/goals for Last Days. I was thinking about this during my vacation on the days when there wasn't much to do. This is my plan for Last Days(so far).

- My primary task for Last Days is to get it 100% complete. I noticed that the pack has been technically "finished" while I was away, so that leaves me with a few tasks: applying those new textures and tweaking them so that they fit Last Days better and editing existing textures to polish them a little more. I don't think this will take very long since I can always continue to tweak textures over time.
- That brings me to my second task which is fairly simple. Updating the download to the "finished" Last Days.
- With that done I need to polish the thread a little. I plan on doing that by updating the OP. As of right now it is very bare and outdated, which might drive away people who want more info/media. I plan on adding tabs such as: media, mod support, fan creations/media, customizer, lore, etc.. The hope this will make the OP into a sort of headquarters/wiki of some sort.
- The next part of my plan is to continue supporting the pack by updating it (obviously), adding more alts, and adding mod support. Perhaps even making different versions such as winter or swamp.

There are a few small goals I have too. Hopefully while tweaking and updating the pack, I will be able to add the following:
- New snow/ice textures (2 different ones)
- High-res versions of old textures.
- A few alt textures

So that is a very short and broad version of my plan for now. I will post again soon with a few nice surprises. :wink.gif:

What did you do to solve this? As I mentioned, I'm having the same problem. I had to nuke my bin folder and reload the original audio, and I would really like the new sounds.
Need an Avatar... I want to do something Last Days related, plus I want to draw it myself... ideas, anyone?
In order to make the right skin for yourself, you first have to decide what sort of character you're playing in Last Days. What sort of background do they come from? What style of clothes best suits them in a post-apocalyptic wasteland?
oh and does anyone know of a mod that adds friendly npc's like civilians? i dont want them to build anything. just walk around and make it look like a town is populated and all.

I did up snow and ice textures, i made a dark ash snow, and ice to match and a lighter snow text too, in the custmizer there is a bunch of alts for stuff still. I've been working on making a lot of alts everyday, your stuff is the best tho. We need to get a defined default pack. there was a lot of complaints about the trees, adn since they were the first idea from Doku, there's no way it was ment to be permant the 'wooden shack' thing. Anyways, I hope what I got int eh custmizer you'd appreciate. Lmme know if you got better ones to replace for defaults. Love you baby :3

Also, updated the Human+ skin that was made in History's thread for last days. Not really compatable for the latest one, but they're there, gunna check to see what else is needed.

Yeah but it will be a specific texturepack due to some blocks needing to be the way they are so it looks right.
