this is a great texture pack, among my favourites, because it is themed.
Anyone can make a remake or update of the old minecraft textures, but only the pros make new textures!
Tips:
you could probably make the skeletons or zombies into some kind of incan or mayan mummy, and could you please keep the dyes in bowls (preferably the same bowls that you keep the lapiz in), and it would probably be cool if you replaced the textured wool (leopard skin etc.) with for example bowls with leopard skin or parrot feathers. maybe some sort of compass with a crack or something.
Don't know how this would work out, but just a suggestion. (I would love to help, but i have absolutely no skill in pixel art)
Now i can finally make Chitzen Itza (or whatever its called)! YAY! :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif:
[EDIT] you could also maybe replace the punpkin with something else, like a skull? I have stuck some jack-o-lanterns in my wall with the previous texpack and it looks kinda stupid to have pumpkins in your wall....

Those are some really great ideas. I'll look into incorporating them right away.
I like the beginning of this pack. I haven't looked at all of the textures, but what I have seen, I liked expect for two things:
The top water texture doesn't move, kinda of a personal thing, but water in large portions tends not to stay still, so for all the water in Minecraft to be still, kinda seems off to me. On a side note, when the water flows it has a neat effect.
The water particles are the wrong color, as they don't match your water. Now this bugs me, when I swim i keep noticing that and it drives me crazy.

By the way ever heard of the opt-fog and opt-mine, well it has been updated so you don't have to use MCPatcher, you can directly copy it to your texturepacks folder and it works! yo can update that in the main post if you want. Its just another way of using HD packs.

I would suggest something more noticeable for the hotbar. When Im scrolling through, sometimes im not sure which way i am going, or what i am on. It just isnt too noticeable, and it kinda bugs me, other than that, this is pretty awesome

Can you add a few alts:
Can you make an alternate steel door thats vines?
Can you make a black sugarcane alt?
