Hey steelfeathers. Just dropping by before I leave on my trip. I won't have your chicken ready by the time I leave unfortunately, but I will be able to finish it up when I get back. Sorry! I do have a somewhat of a treat for you though, go check out Mythos and you'll see what I mean. And don't worry, I wasn't just working on that instead of your chicken!
On a related note:
The new wolf looks really good and I really like the harness the tamed one has. I'm excited to take my hunting pack to search for treasure in the ruins in 1.8!

...I'm very confused. Is the 'eye nipple man thing' the treat? Because if it is, I'm terrified about what you think of me. lol.
EDIT: Oh. Okay, I get it. Very creepy, but in an awesome sort of way.
Also: GO 1.8!! I can't wait to take my pack out as well.
After looking closely at the new awesome wolf. I noticed that it's 64 x 64. Why did you choose to make the res that high? and would it be possible for you to make a 32 bit version?

I made it 64x so I could get more detail. And there's no reason for me to reduce it to 32x, since 64x works just the same with the HD patch-- it just looks better. :wink.gif:

I'm but with that logic all the texture could be 256x
Your friendly neighborhood Kingpin here...
After reading through some of the 'What do you look for in a pack?' thread, i was intrigued to see what kind of work you had done. There are so many packs out there that do not get attention. Some bad, and in this case, some very good. Being a novice modder, i can relate to the frustration of folks automatically gravitating to the well-known authors and not giving some projects a second look.
So after looking at the pics of the pack, I've got to say 'Well Done!'. It has everything that i personally look for in a texture pack. Very synergistic and original. The Aztec these fits very nicely into the MC world. The GUI and the terrian.png are very polished. I dont really like telling what i dont like in a pack, because that is just my personaly taste.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the rest of the mobs. Any plans on supporting mods? Id like to see what you come up with for LoafCat and FISHY. Link in sig.

I probably will end up doing mod support once I finish everything else, just to have something to work on. XP
I've never heard of those mods, though. I'll have to go check them out. :smile.gif:
I love this, its very creative. I'm using this right now and especially redstone bones is very nice, as well as the sheep cloth. I'll be referencing off of this maybe sometime when I create my custom texturepack. verry well done <3

Just be sure not to reference TOO closely. :wink.gif:
I think your next priority should be paintings. I still love using this pack and hope you manage to complete it, imo its the best pack i have ever used ever since i had to downgrade from 64x after the rain update.

I'll complete it, don't worry. ....It just might take me a while. Derp.
I like it a lot! the bamboo, lava and wolf textures fit in with the oriental style Very well! I would consider changing the glowstone texture to be more natural. Just a suggestion. Very nice work and please keep it up. I will look forward to more! :smile.gif:

haha, just kidding. Glad you like it. If you want natural glowstone, there's an alt included on the terrain png. Just switch it in to place.

Retired StaffOkay, better answer: I like 64x wolves better than 32x wolves, which is why they're going to stay 64x.
Is there any particular reason why you want them to be 32x?
Just to make it fit with the overall pack. But then again i didn't notice it was 64x until i looked at it closely.
If this helped, click the 'UP'-button in the bottom right corner of this post and you will get a personal Thank-You Message!

Retired StaffThanks!
I'm not a big fan of the classic 'bloody cobble' look myself. Ick.
